However, CR7 has some qualities that Messi lacks when playing for country: confidence and leadership. Portugal is not a top tier soccer team in Europe, yet see what they achieved with CR7 as captain. On the flip side, Argentina is a power house that has won World Cups in the past. Messi always likes to blame others (ARG FA, the grass, referees etc). However the issue has been his head games.
