Folks are just on about AJ v Fury but with four belts AJ has a slew of mandatories to come anyone of them being a potential banana skin. I don't think the priority of the WBA, WBO, IBF or IBO will be a unification match neither do I think Fury's WBC will either. Neither will any promoter immeditely be able to stomp the massive cash needed to force their hands since Wilder is out of the equation... ...Except if AJ can persuade his new found friends in Saudi Arabia to pull out a bllion dollar promo.... .... then the IBF will gladly tell Pulev to take a hike. |

SonofDevil:Stop using Anthony Joshua's defeat of a washed out Klitschko as a yardstick... Fury will defeat Anthony Joshua handily. The fact that Anthony Joshua could not knock out an out of shape Andy Ruiz Jr in their rematch should tell you that should he come up against a complete boxer like Tyson Fiury, he will only be exposed again... 2 Likes |

maestroferddi:Fury is now complete cus of this match, here this wilder is an average boxer, fury was not just in shape yet that was why they had a draw first. This match was one of the easiest for fury. Just wait for AJ vs Fury, it will come |

m140: I'm not Igbo, but what has tribe got to do with this now??! Can't your brain reason past ethnicity??!... Physically, Fury has a higher edge over Joshua. This is not disputable... I doubt Joshua himself would dispute that either. 1 Like |

m140:Fury has delivered the goods time and again. He stared down a top form Klitschko and beat him in his own game. He took Wilder's lethal righties twice and came back roaring (would have won Fight 1 if there was a Round 13). When Joshua has been avoiding Wilder, Fury elected to fight him and had him beaten up in the second time asking. Complete fighters don't choose fights : They are ever ready to bite the bullet relying on their technique and staying power to outfox and outlast opposition... |

SonofDevil:What do you understand by 'pound for pound'? Abi you just ran into the boxing phrase and decide to use it indiscrimately... Pound for pound' normally applies to low weight division/categories light flyweight, bstamweigjt, cruiserweight etc... Pound for Pound' in the heavy weight division is a farce.... Here the lingo is KOs... No dey fall hand abeg... |

Guys this is not fair oo. Remember that Wilder is a son of the soil. Why must you all turn your back on him when he needed us so badly. Anyways read this comments from Ortiz Luis : Earlier this week rumors leaked of a potential Andy Ruiz-Luis Ortiz heavyweight showdown ticketed for the late spring. However, BoxingScene.com has been advised that it is more likely that Ruiz will face former title challenger Chris Arreola instead and that the Mexican-American battle could potentially end up happening in the coming months. ortiz-ruiz Ortiz, who was stopped in the seventh round of his rematch with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder in November after winning most of the first six rounds, is very interested in facing Ruiz or any other top 10 heavyweight. "I would love to fight any of the top heavyweights. When they asked if I would fight Andy Ruiz I smiled and said yes with no hesitation," Ortiz told BoxingScene.com. "But I don’t make fights. I just fight who they put in the ring with me so it’s up to my manger Jay (Jimenez) and Al Haymon." The soon to be 41-year-old Cuban believes a fight against the former champion Ruiz would be action packed. He also wanted to advise Ruiz that facing his a lot different than fighting Anthony Joshua. Ruiz stopped Joshua in seven rounds in June of last year, but he was dominated over twelve rounds in their December rematch. "Ruiz is a good fighter. He beat Joshua and he showed the world he’s a top contender. He showed what he can do but my friend, I’m no Joshua. I don’t know how to run around (like Joshua in the rematch). If it’s me in there it’s a real fight. I just want to get back in the ring and show the world what I love to do. Hopefully I’ll be back soon but again, yes I’d give Andy that work if he wants it," Ortiz stated. 1 Like |

japhetizzer96: It’s unfair when you people try to judge AJ’s career based on his matches with Ruiz. Were you guys following AJ before then? AJ has fought and knocked out stronger opponents than Wilder and Fury has ever done in their careers. The only thing about Wilder is his right hand - he lacks tactics and A.J will finish him. How many top boxers has Wilder fought in his career compared to A.J? Fury is not even the Heavyweight Puncher that A.J is. You people only started following AJ’s career after his first match with Ruiz and you guys are now under-rating him everyday. Do you guys think it’s easy to unify those belts he has? Do you guys know how many top ranking boxers he fought to win them? 2 Likes |
