This man keeps challenging the status quo..

I wish merit and efficiency is rewarded, this man should be either a president or governor...

However, his many sins against Jonathan is still chasing him..

How do you mean by his many sins against Jonathan?

Who said it is a sin to blow a whistle against massive corruption in an administration in which he is the central bank Governor?
..

Which of the corruption
The $40bilion
And later $20billion
Please tell us which he blew the whistle for

Poverty is cultural in Northern Nigeria.

Poverty is seen as a way of life which is pleasing to Allah.

God forgive me, I now feel disgusted when I see these beggars because they are part reason we are in this mess of a country.

Although I don't fail to give to the crippled beggars sweeping the bridges anytime I pass one.

If begging is disallowed in Islam, why are most beggers seemingly Muslims? Or is it a cultural thing for northerners?

Very selfish tribe my dear. Its either you are stinkingly rich or poverty striken..no middle class.

I wish Sanusi had contested and won the presidential election in 2015 instead of buharia.

Man is so enlightened and exposed, and never afraid to drop his illuminating ideas on Northern issues even as they may antagonize the conservative nature of Northern Nigeria.

Case in hand is how he openly opposes the almajiri system in Northern Nigeria, which breeds millions of child beggars and out-of-school children.

He's pandering.

It's not enough to stand on a podium and pontificate, a real man of duty seeks authority to actualize his ideas and beliefs.

But he didn't look for executive political office to walk his talk, instead he conveniently slid into a decadent traditional office that serves no purpose than to make a few people authoritative without responsibility, rich without work, and influential without public service.

He's become every living symbol of the lethargy and decadence of the North, the very symbol he hates and berates: the elitist emirs.

Until he sheds that flamboyant garb of regal ineptitude and embraces the struggle to right the wrongs, whether from a high perch or deep in the social trenches, he's no different from all the people responsible for the rot and decay in Nigeria, whether North or South.

lolz.. Sanusi is intelligent and enlightened.. However he is also a very religious fanatic.. We need a liberal leader.. Who does not care about religion or tribe.. But about humans!!

He is outspoken, outstanding, intelligent and ready to make drastic changes. Unfortunately, he's too religious and highly dedicated to his religion. That's a keg of gunpowder in a multi-religious society like ours.
He should continue to use his gifts and position in the best way possible, someday, it will sink into their minds and action will be taken .

This guy started using crystal meth or his attention deficit disorder is becoming aggressive. There are beggers everywhere around the world, Nigeria av the highest poverty rate due to corruption. Especially in the North cus most of the time associated to factors such as illiteracy, people's attitude to economic prosperity, corruption, bad governance, child destitution (like almajiranci, begging), income inequality, ethnic clashes and poor economic roadmap. However, all of those factors are, inherently, the resultant repercussions of poor entrepreneurial initiative at community/society level. That is why, even though no region or nation has ever experienced zero level of entrepreneurship, more entrepreneurially characterised nations/regions are socioeconomically better, and poverty and other related factors seem to be low. Therefore, lack of sound entrepreneurial initiative is the main cause of poverty in northern Nigeria.

Buhari said more than that before elected as the president. they always have sense and show sympathy to the masses but when they get there, they always go against the masses.

Madam Alhaja, there is no excuse for begging. Those who are working as labourers and bus conductors too could have joined the bandwagon of beggars but they chose not to because they understand the dignity of labour.

A human being with complete body parts begging for food is a disgrace to humanity. No excuses...

Sometimes you do make a lot of sense. I'm a northerner too and I believe we need to get rid of this disgusting almajiri system once and for all for it's a dark stain on our psyche as a people

The government that busy with platform on how to get money from citizens!!!!! Some state had started with okada riders sooner They will come out for Beggars to pay tax from what they are earning. We don't have Government in Nigeria we only have politicians that are there to manifest their personal ambitions.

This advise is clearly a halfhearted one.
Sanudi doesn't talk when the his people are misbehaving by wasting public funds on Mosque construction or ram. He now want to give impression about caring for the poor. The govt isn't meant to feed people but to create conducive environment for private entities to thrive. Parent are responsible for their children and not govt. Govt is for the collective welfare of muslims and non muslims, that's why govts powerand activities revolves. things that muslims and non muslims share in common in the society like security, water, road, electricity, laslws, policies, regulation, health, education etc. Govt is not for feeding and clothing people but for ensuring food security through things like anchor borrowers scheme of CBN, BOI and NHIS in health sector. Sanusi isn't fit to lead a compound of 50 people if you ask me.
