How do you mean by his many sins against Jonathan?

Who said it is a sin to blow a whistle against massive corruption in an administration in which he is the central bank Governor?

So was that whistle on the "massive corruption" ever substantiated?

Sanusi deserves a thumb up for always telling the truth irrespective of who's involved.

What many in the North need is just some enlightenment. Many don't know the responsibility their government has.
I think there should be a lot of focus too on empowering disabled people, because of those who beg due to one disability or other.
There are many skill acquisitions programs they can set up for disabled people.
Beggars who have no disability should be chased off the roads. Local councils can employ them to sweep the streets, pack garbage into trucks etc.

A sitting president accused of corruption with credible evidence may not openly initiate an investigation to expose the players.

Jonathan swept it under the carpet, lost the next polls. You will not disagree with me that Buhari's administration has not made effort to repatriate some of the fund which were traced to National security advisor to Jonathan, and former petroleum minister diezani, even though they may prove futile.

I wish Sanusi had contested and won the presidential election in 2015 instead of buharia.

Man is so enlightened and exposed, and never afraid to drop his illuminating ideas on Northern issues even as they may antagonize the conservative nature of Northern Nigeria.

Case in hand is how he openly opposes the almajiri system in Northern Nigeria, which breeds millions of child beggars and out-of-school children.

You idiots like being scammed.

He is just like the other useless northern leaders, only younger.

He is a hypocrite - preaches one thing and does another.

Child marriage? Hypocrite.

Birth rate? Hypocrite.

Public expenditure? Hypocrite.

Has he ever condemns the excesses of this government?

Attacking the poor and ignorance, while his ethnics men preside over a government that ignores government corruption and Fulani's militants.

I am beginning to fall in love with this man. I have been wondering why the north despite the highest number of political office they have had still churn out almajiris all over the nation to beg for alms, it's so repulsive that their leaders have blindfolded them from being emancipated from the shackles of this ugly and despicable act.

there is no proper education to sensitise these people rather they have been engulfed with quranic recitations and other unprofitable and Mudane activities.

I wouldnt want to believe that these Northernerns are abusing the practice of Islam because they pay too much attention to irrelevant things that has no direct benefits on their standard of living, probably Saudi Arabia,U A.E, Kuwait and other Muslim nations are using the standard revised version of the Quran while our retarded brothers in the North are still making use of the archaic and outdated version of the Quran.

Sanusi has a brawl with his state Governor; Governor Ganduje of APC, because of his corruption-breeding administration.

The feud has effected to the loss of influence he has over his emirate, infact former head of state, General Abdusalami Abubakar leads the committee of state men consituted to amicably settle their feud, today.

If begging is disallowed in Islam, why are most beggers seemingly Muslims? Or is it a cultural thing for northerners?

These two Emirs, Sa'ad Abubakar of Sokoto and and Sanusi of Kano (our highly respected former boss at UBA) have always shown themselves to be on the side of the downtrodden masses. And this despite being vilified repeatedly by their enemies in the North, they keep fighting for the voiceless in the society.

Even as a Christian I love them so much. How I wish they could put off the mantle of kingship and take on the sceptres of leadership in our country. We will be the better for it.

There are beggers everywhere around the world, Nigeria av the highest poverty rate due to corruption. Especially in the North cus most of the time associated to factors such as illiteracy, people's attitude to economic prosperity, corruption, bad governance, child destitution (like almajiranci, begging), income inequality, ethnic clashes and poor economic roadmap. However, all of those factors are, inherently, the resultant repercussions of poor entrepreneurial initiative at community/society level. That is why, even though no region or nation has ever experienced zero level of entrepreneurship, more entrepreneurially characterised nations/regions are socioeconomically better, and poverty and other related factors seem to be low. Therefore, lack of sound entrepreneurial initiative is the main cause of poverty in northern Nigeria.

I have never seen a Nigerian so honest and factual like this monarch. He is really challenging the status quo and bringing up good ideas to the limelight. I wish our leaders will give him a better chance to turn things around in this country.
The man seem to be wasting his talent as an Emir in Kano, for me he should be either a vice president or even the president of this country.

Well said.
A truly enlighted Muslim.

It's not difficult to see that islam, judaism and Christianity ultimately teach the same thing. Just different ways to the same God.
It is simply man's ulterior motives that create misinterpretations and divisions.
