Do you know a brand new S-class, let's say 2017 S550 AMG costs around $220k brand new and within a year or 2 after purchase the value drops by half, around 3 years, you can buy it for like $70k but rich people still buy it because they don't care about the second hand value, they are buying a car they love. The typical or average Benz owner is not a BROKE PERSON, no matter the year you consider. Even if you go back to the past, like in the 60s and 70s in Nigeria, check out the people driving Benz and check out those driving Toyota, Honda and Peugeot

In as much as I love Mercedes Benz cars, I prefer Toyota made SUVs especially.

For those thinking that people driving Toyota cannot afford Benz, you all are jokers.


Currently, I am driving a Lexus SUV and a Toyota car by choice, and they can afford Benz but I prefer Lexus for so many reasons; their cars are light on the hand to drive, Mercedes feels so heavy for me. Maybe in future, when the money becomes much as we work towards it, I may just buy one or two Benz cars to prove a point, not because I fancy Benz cars that much.


Give me Benz G65 AMG and Lexus G570, and I will take Lexus G570 any day, any time.

Benz has been a brand of repute and they rarely do advert because they know that they have loyal customers ....I am driving the second Benz... seriously I started with Japanese cars but as of today, I doubt if I can drive Japanese again
