I'm Igbo and I speak Igbo proudly as my mother language.
I speak Yoruba very well too.
My next target now is Hausa, I want to be a complete WaZoBia.

Happy mother language day.
I can teach you Hausa language

To be honest the reverse is the case, when you go to the East almost everyone speaks Igbo even to strangers, same with West and North. We are deceiving ourselves in this country, the only people who speak English in their homes are the elite.

Onitsha and Aba Igbo, Lagos Yoruba and kano hausa..thats what we now speak, nobody uses the original mother dialects anymore, thats why we now sound like agberos, speaking too fast

Fact. You have said the truth. Anybody visiting these places will notice it so I'm surprised they are wasting time doing language day when one can hardly meet people who speak proper English any more

English is not my foreign language, and I try to improve it every day. My favorite way to train my English is to read, because with this method I constantly learn new words, improve understanding, and even pronunciation by reading out loud. This method is perfect for me. Recently I read a very funny article about 42 funny grammar jokes that will make a laught - https://www.theusables.com/grammar-jokes/
Very funny material, to the author bravo, honestly smiley to all fans of good articles with satire elements - I recommend!
