That's true; there is no mention of Ash Wednesday in the Bible. And why deleting my comments

And who forced you to follow Catholic doctrine?

Practise your own faith and leave others alone

For ur information, it's only GOD that can change this nation for good.
We are wearing black because we are condoling/mourning with the family of those who lost their loved ones

what would they have done that u couldn't do? Always criticise one's efforts without showing others what u have done to improve the situation in ur own little way.

My brother at least it shows that we are concern about the killings in the land.

I believe in the history of Nigeria this is the first time the church has risen up and protest against the killing of innocent souls

I don't know if you did any course in socialism? But mobilization starts with awareness. As simple as that act is, it's a call to awareness.

It's a reminder of the evil the Christian faith is facing. When people are properly enlighten, only then you begin the next face.

Orubebe was not fighting for anyone he was shouting for his selfish interest.

Now that he wants to decamp to APC what's your take on it?

Yes it increases awareness and makes prayers more effective. The Israelites used to wear sack clothes whenever they wanted to fast to gain God's attention

Is there any competition somewhere on how to show displeasure with the killings and insecurity in Nigeria? Why do some of you like to showcase certain unwholesome thoughts and attitudes?
olaskul:
Not well coordinated, I still give it to the Nigeria Baptist for their efforts towards showing discomfort with the situation of things in this country. All the Pentecostal churches should act likewise.

Even people like @ Sarrki on this forum who spent years lambasting Orubebe have been humbled.
They have realised that they were scammed. Imagine sacking 34 people in PPPRA just to create vacancies for Buharis daughter and their criminals in the oil sector
