When u imagine the billions of naira budgetted for the purpose of feeding inmates, you will be weeping. It isn't surprising though. If ex-SGF could steal from displaced Nigerians all in the name of "clearing evasive grass specie", what won't u expect from other criminally minded politicians embarassed

Both politicians and security agents are even diverting food stuff meant for internally displayed people.

They are having it better than some free citizens, IDPs, students, especially those in the public institutions. What I see in that picture is not better than a typical boy's hostel of a public university in Nigeria

when are we going to understand that Nigeria isn't all that rich, and the politicians rip us off atleast 50% of our merge income from Oil? Nigerian Prison budgets 10 billion naira or $27 million USD, while US Prisons budgets $100 billion USD or 36 trillion naira each year

In US Fed tax from 10% to 30% of your income depending on your tax bracket, State tax from 8% to 12%, so 40% of what you work for goes to the Government so If you earn 10,000 naira US government collects 4,000 naira from you an the remaining Salary you have 6,000k naira you pay 10% tax on every item you buy through VAT tax, yet US produces 15 million barrels per day with a population of 350 million, and Nigeria produces 2 million barrels per day with population of 200 million

If you want our criminals to eat better food than eba and beans soup, then maybe we can as well pay more tax or reduce what we budget on education and seciurity

.

Hmmmmmmm! But one of your politicians ones told us that a prisoner's feeding budget for a day is #14,000 so your analysis is somehow faulty.
The truth is that we are never sincere to ourselves. An average Nigerian is a criminal.

US is bigger than west Africa. Comparing US with Nigeria is wrong. You can compare Texas or California with Nigeria.

Haba! This is a bold faced lie now. Talk about only what you know. Something you didn't even understand here is that adequate provisions are normally made for the inmates in Nigeria, it is still this same corruption that wouldn't let the inmates get real meals

How can someone be this daft
Have you work in the US to know if the rubbish you typed here is true ?
Have you heard of food stamp ? Am sure you don't !
You think the US govt just tax and then steal the money ? Or do nothing
The tax amount you quoted are very wrong and your example shallow . There is a level of money you earn before you are even taxed!
Nigerian govt collect VAT 7.5 what have the society get in return ?
Am sure you are one of the beneficiary of the fraud system we operate .
All the money looted and recover , pls narrate what they have done with . Those in power lives life of luxury but want the citizens to pay exorbitantly evil tax .
Thunder fire you

In most countries of the world they don't treat prisoners like animals unlike in Nigeria.
You don't place someone in prison and starve them to death.
This is not true, Prison is not a place you go and be happy even in USA too. Many rappers have sang about the bad food given in prison

U say politicians rip off at least 50% of our national income (am curious to know how u arrived at 50%). At d same time, u want Nigerians to pay more taxes to make up for what u say politicians steal. Does that make sense?
