To begin with, he is not a spineless person like you, therefore he talks for the downtrodden, even though he has every reason not to do so.

As being too naive for the game of power, remember he was a former ED at UBA, an MD at FBN and a Guv.at CBN. So what's power if not those 3 positions.

He's just a radical for the voiceless masses, and GOD BLESS HIS SOUL FOR THAT.

What do you know? Nothing. You people have a funny way of reasoning. If Sanusi feels he is on a higher moral ground, he won't dine with certain people. You don't dip hands into a bowl with people and turn around to tag them immoral, they will turn around, fight and disgrace you. Sanusi talks for downtrodden, speaks against child marriage and almajiri, fine. However, was he not the same man that got married to a 17yr old girl as his 4th wife? If truly Sanusi understand morals, he would have long resigned before he was booted out. Why stay within and fight against people who made you? The same people you ran to when Jonathan seemed to want to crush you. I laugh at all the outlandish outpouring of emotion here by those of you who don't know how life works. He who goes to equity must go with a clean hand. If you chose to fight a moral war, you don't do it sitting down and dining with the devil, you will end up being totally disgraced and nothing will come out of it because there is so much hidden that can be used against you. I repeat again that Sanusi is naive in the game of power or even moral. He is a man seeking unnecessary sensation and adulation.

A former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, on Monday, said those behind the dethronement of the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, displayed “the intolerance and toxicity of the liquor of power”.

Sani said the Northern Elders Forum had waded into the misunderstanding between the deposed Emir and the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, but failed to make the two parties reach a truce.

He tweeted:

only time will tell but I might be old then and make references as an elder statesman but funny there will still be idiots from idiots that will go against my current observations and knowledge of things... it’s pathetic but one day a very strong institution will rise and make any Nigerian by birth be equal and the gap between the rich and poor will be minimal..

The newly appointed emir and other eligible candidates to the throne should have simply reject the nomination and render the stool useless and vacant at least till gandujes tenure expires....And that's gonna be in a form of solidarity to sanusi and a way to say no to intimidation from state government

The reason as a Prince, I don't like the throne. An astute Professional and an Expert will never want the throne.

I can't be saying Sir to one useless Governor because I wanted to be recognised and accorded ... They won't even see you for your worth but just a protege....

You can't even speak clearly on an Issue bordering your Town or City because you are expected to remain an asslicker and a Zombie ...

The Throne is gone !!

I have always tell myself HRH, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is wasting away on the throne of Kano... How can a Global Renowned Professional and an Activist conscript himself to one city there called Kano and be doing yes sir, yes sir for one useless Almajiri man who find himself in Government House.

He helped power intoxicated people to get into power and we are suffering for it. Where are all those APC leaders that were trooping to kano in 2014 to lobby for him to become Emir to spite GEJ? They have abandon him to his fate.

This is a battle for the traditional institutions to fight as their once revered thrones have now become political tools in the hands of power drunk politicians. The British colonial rulers cunningly put our native rulers under a low level district officer (D O),nowadays LGs chairmen, to diminish their influence and power while their own Queen remains the Paramount owner of United Kingdom till eternity ! Black man, think !

Sanusi is actually not the loser here !

are you now saying that everybody who voted against Jonathan had committed sin by so doing? Can we say that karma fúcked Jonathan up in 2015 for not supporting Atiku against himself? If GEJ was so good, Nigerians wouldn't have voted him out. Stop bringing 2015 election up, you should have gotten over it by now.

This is the height of humiliation but he don't deserve pity. If you doubt this go and ask Erastus Akibgbola of the defunct Intercontinental Bank. Sanusi spearheaded one of the most shady & controversial interbank deal, and many souls that dependend on that thriving institution suffered.

wrong! The queen of England is actually subject to constitutional authority. She no longer has those absolute powers her forefathers used to have. For your info the Queen could be removed - infact the entire monarch in the UK can be abolished simply by an act if parliament. Today in the UK Parliament is soverign and the monarchy is simply ceremonial. The UK simply imported into Nigeria what they started practising

As of the time of filing this report, security had been beefed up at the House of Assembly complex.

It was learnt that the fight broke out during a debate on the report of the Chairman of Kano State Public Complaints and Ant-Corruption Commission.

Aminu Ado Bayero has been named the new emir of Kano, replacing Muhammadu Sanusi, who was dethroned a few hours ago.

Abba Anwar, chief press secretary to Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, disclosed this in a statement.

Yes the present emir will be dethroned and sanusi restored pronto but I believe things won't go that way.. sanusi only needs to link up with kwankwaso again like the old times then they plot Ganduje's fvck up after his tenure.. next Kano state governor will come from PDP and he'll probe Ganduje's bribery video to a logical conclusion... Dude will be jailed and there will be no buhari to rescue him by then... cheesy cheesy
