Why are people always trying to drag Frm. President Jonathan into the mud.

Someone was on his own and you decided to gift him a car, why should the car be returned. If it was giving to him as a bribe, let us know.

Secondly, you booked a hotel for an event which made hotel management to deny their client booking and due to a fault from you end the event was cancelled. You can only negotiate with the hotel management to refund certain percentage if that was stated in their TOS.
