Unknown gunmen have kidnapped four graduates of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo on their way to NYSC orientation camp for their 21 days training.
It was gathered that the prospective corps members were kidnapped between Nasarawa and Zamfara highway.
A lecturer in the Institution Saka olokungboye Nurudeen, said, “It was a rude shocked to members of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic ,Owo ,Ondo State when we received the ugly news of the kidnapped of four (4) of our students who were on transit to Kastina State for the mandatory One year National Youth Service corps program”.
“It was reported that these 4 students who were going to answer the clarion call were kidnapped along Funtua – Kastina Road by daredevil hoodlums operating along the notorious Kaduna – Kastina axis”.
“We are therefore using this medium to appeal to the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Honourable Minister for Sport & Youth , DG, NYSC ,the Inspector General of Police , Commissioner of Police ,Kastina state and other relevant sister security agencies to as a matter of urgency deploy all arsenals in their disposal to ensure that these students are rescue unhurt and safe”.
“Also, our thoughts are with the parents of these students during this trying period. We also sympathize with and assure Management of our alloyed support to ensuring that these students are rescue unhurt through rebroadcasting this news in all social media platforms.

We pray to God to continue to protect all our students who will be leaving to their various States toady, to participate in the program; he said”.
