One of my cousins once followed his friend who's from that part to their place. So at mid night, his friend out of compassion had to wake him up to leave otherwise he'll be a dead man by day break cos once they see a stranger, they must come at night to dema for their own share. That was how he helped my cousin to escape that night.

Another instance was recently when John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu was almost left behind by his crew at at a movie set in that ngwa area. Some men were already closing in on him when the crew bus reversed back with speed when they discovered IBU was not in the bus. He could have been eaten up by those men.

Everything you have read here is my personal experience about working in ngwa land as a civil servant and also running a business there too. I have first hand experience about their life style and belief. If you think everything I wrote here is a lie, pls call someone that resides in abia state or any part of ngwa and ask them of their honest experience. If you are from ngwa land and you have a problem with what I wrote, its high time you stopped making life misreble for visitors living in you midst. No single apologies for what I wrote.
