Praising God is a mighty way of deliverance from the enemy.

Are you surrounded by enemies? Are you tied, caged, limited, oppressed, afflicted and manipulated by enemies?

Then you need deliverance.

And your deliverance can come as you lift your voice in praises to God!

David knew this truth; he knew the secret to his victory was praise to God. David fought a lot of battles but not even once was he wounded, maimed or even scratched. Why? This is what David said:

“I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.”
— 2 Samuel 22:4

David kept calling on God in praises and God kept saving Him from his enemies.

Praise is a mighty instrument of deliverance from our enemies because when we praise God, He arises out of His favour and fights for us. Praise provokes God to personally deliver us from the hands of our enemies.

Psalms 107
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹⁵ "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

¹⁶ For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder."

Praise provokes God to destroy the siege and gates of the enemy against our lives.

Acts 16
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
²⁵ "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed."

As Paul and Silas praised God in their bondage, supernatural deliverance came. As we praise God in our captivity, He will come down to set us free.

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength (or praise) because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”
— Psalms 8:2

Praise releases God's strength to handle our enemies. In fact, God needs your praises to effectively silence your enemies.

Psalms 149
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

⁷ To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

⁹ To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Praising God releases His anger and judgements on our enemies. Are you tired of being oppressed and afflicted by the enemy? Switch over to praising God.

2 Chronicles 20
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹³ "And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

¹⁴ Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;

¹⁵ And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

¹⁶ To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

¹⁷ Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

¹⁸ And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

¹⁹ And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

²⁰ And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

²¹ And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

²² And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

²³ For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

²⁴ And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped."

When we praise God, He takes over our battles and enemies.

How do we praise God effectively?

The Bible says without faith no one can please God.(Hebrews 11:6)

So praising God outside faith can't accomplish much.

Our praise must be faith filled. Faith comes by God's Word, so our praises to God must come forth from our hearts full of His Word.
