From the pix, the mum can't be more than 35 when Bello was a still a toddler, so if the mum died at 101, Bello's age would be 101-35=66. So Bello is 66 years old . But a mere look at Bello would reveal he is around 55 years old. Now , add 55 to 35 , that gives us 90. So, Bello's mum died around 90 years of age as against the announced 101. QED.

With the pictures I'm seeing above the woman was between 75 to 80 years and not 101 years.

The woman should be around eighty. In so many cases people normally inflate the ages of their parents since there are no accurate record of birth.I have seen many cases like that.

Yahaya bello is an ebiraman and not yoruba, pls note. That said, there's a man in my town in Ekiti, who celebrated his 113th year recently. He was my dad's teacher in standard six in those days. My dad is well above 70 years and the man's first born is still alive and over 80 years old now. The son is an emeritus professor of medicine and very popular in the academic setting. The old teacher could still recognise people and walk around with sticks. He was born to missionary parents and schooled in england before coming back before independence to take up a teaching job. Would you think somebody who's as educated as himself and born to educated missionary parents could have falsified his age? Think about that. Again, your mate who are in the village, who looked older than you might end up clocking a 100 years later. Look doesn't determine longevity, ok?
