I noticed this after I bought an air pressure Guage and I checked and noticed my car pressure was above the recommended psi and decide to test my road side vulcanizer by telling him to check, the guy still told me to top it. Imagine something at about 40psi about 8 psi above recommendation.

I currently had a Tyre Guage and pump and do the job my self. Before them go kill person.

Please hoe much did you buy the Gauge and can you share a picture of it...... I just got 4 YOKOHAMA tyres andI don't want to take chances with them....

If your average speed on highway is more than 100 km/h, stay away from Double King Tyres sold in Nigeria for now, unless you have zero love for yourself. They explode on high-speed at will.

Just because they are too cheap doesn't mean they are good deals. Your life depends on tyre qualities on highway or high vehicle speed.

Even if they don't explode, it doesn't balance well so the car will not be smooth going over 120kmph. I spent a fortune doing balancing like monthly or most times before any journey. Sometimes I do wheel balance twice in one day because I wasn't satisfied. It was later I realised it wasn't the balancing mechanic but the tire it self. I experienced worst with Maxtrek tires.

With the way I travel, I use a brand new china tire in a year! DK, Maxtrek is a no no never ever.

Nice. Decent tyres usually cover about 30-40k miles before wearing out. Some go over 60k miles before requiring replacement. Stay safe on those roads man. Seems my Waka Waka days are behind me.

Got interested with this tyre thing, yesterday I needed to upgrade to15rim meaning I will change the four tyres (a set ) The tyre dealer recommended Austone tyre, have not heard of that name before. Have anyone Use Austone tyres ?

The difference in price is not much like 3-4k diff. The most important thing in tire is u must always check your wheel and balancing/alignment of your car. I rest my case

I haven't bought a brand new tire in 2 years so I wouldn't know. However, I've bought Tokunbo Yokohama tire and it is quite good. No warp, no bulge, apparently minimal wear after 5k miles.

Well I've used double king they aren't that bad. Bought 2 of it, travelled a lot with it as drive wheels max speed I did on them was 160km as the speed rating is T. One thing I do not like about it is the grip when it's raining on high speed when the thread begins to go down. They very durable 3 years on them now. They are now at the back resting for replacement.

If u go to 2 or 3 diff shop, tell them to give u Pressure double king. Ask for d diff from regular one

They are cheap chinko tyres. You get what you pay for.
Personally after my experience i'll advice any one to go for a good tokumbo tyre than that double king. If you want peace of mind just close eye and cough up extra cash and buy a brand new tyre from reliable brands.
