It may shock you to know that most of the issues people have reported about tyres are not even from the manufacturers but greedy Nigerians who make clones of these tires most expecially those tyres they know are selling very well.

I have used Michelin tyres and they are great but it's not always about the name. Some of the recommended brands here have also proven unreliable. My friend always buys Maxxis but even the DK I bought looks better and lasts longer and he doesn't even travel like I do. In all, I've bought about 8 Double King tyres for 2 different vehicles and only one has given me issues. It affects the handling somehow once you get to 120 but if you're not careful you may not know it's the tyre.

My advice is always buy from reliable tyre dealers to avoid stories that touch.
