Islam is a sweet religion. We can be more Muslims than the Saudis, that is one of the sweetness of Islam. ALlāh doesn't look at country or race, the most beloved to ALlāh is he who most revere HiM. Saudi don't represent Islam, though they are trying, Saudi is a country and not Islam, so any Muslims in any part of the world can be more Muslims than the Saudis, as simple as that.

That is how religion tries to reel ppl in by saying sweet words. False advertising.

In the Quran, it's a different story.

You are very ignorant for being a muslim as a black person

Announce the crescent Moon, are you sniffing something lately? They announce for Saudi Arabian ONLY. Haven't you heard of SUPREME COUNCIL FOR ISLAMIC AFFAIRS in Nigeria? They're the Muslim body that checks that of Nigeria crescent Moon. Though The body in States also checks.
If Saudi sees the crescent Moon but we in Nigeria haven't see it, we don't follow Saudi's own, we'll wait UNTIL we see ours. That's Islam for you.
So, keep quiet, you know nothing about ISLAM

I think we shouldn't get the hadith's misconstrue, because the said hadith doesn't suit the present situation.Although, it's not allowed to observed the obligatory prayers at home but there is conditions in Islam. Now,there is disease outbreak which might make it permissible to observed zuhr at home instead of jumah,Allah know all
Exactly my sentiments.

No one is disputing the fact that solat in jamma is more rewarding and of course jummuah is to be done in congregation.

But it is in the hadith that you should not eat garlic or onions while going to the mosque so as not to offend your brothers

You should bathe and put on perfume so as not to smell badly and discomfort them.

If Islam cares about just comforting people, are you thinking infecting them will be a matter of lighter significance?

Again,
We are told to not enter a land with plague or leave it when we are there already. That is quarantine in the hadith. We know that gathering can spread the disease or enable us contract it, should we disobey and go ahead?

Remember these fatwahs people give online, they are responsible for the results.

Some sahabahs were on an expedition. And they offended their ameer. He ordered that they jumped into fire. They declined. He quoted that Islam says you should obey your leaders, and he is the ameer, so they should jump into the fire. They refused.
When they met with rosallullahi saw, they told him about it, and his response was " if they had obeyed him, they will keep on jumping in the fire on yaomal qiyamat (if I recall correctly)"

This goes to show that common sense can be applied in some cases. We should weigh the pros and the cons. Ummrah will not be done this year most likely due to this covid. It is the best way to stop the spread. We are not more righteous than the early Muslims who obeyed these instructions. Some tried to fast everyday, abstain from their wives, do tajuud daily. And They were cautioned from practicing the religion in that manner. We are an ummah of moderation and not extremity. The consequences of gathering can lead to us spreading a virus that will kill many Muslims inventually. Why should we gather then?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.
We advise these people to fear Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, and to pray in congregation with the Muslims in the mosques, for the most correct scholarly view on these matters is that prayer in congregation must be offered in the mosques, and it is not permissible for a man to stay away from congregational prayers in the mosque unless he has an excuse. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I was thinking of ordering a man to give the iqaamah, then I would order a man to lead the people in prayer, and I would go with some men carrying bundles of firewood, to people who do not attend the prayer in congregation, and I would burn their houses down around them.”

These people may have prayed, but the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted them to pray with the congregation that is described as such in sharee’ah, and the congregation that is described as such in sharee’ah is the congregation that prays in the mosque. And the mosques are the places where people are called to come at the time of prayer. Hence ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “Whoever would like to meet Allaah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him regularly attend these prayers where the call to them is given.”

“Where the call to them is given” means the place from which the call is made. This has to do with the five daily prayers.

With regard to Jumu’ah (Friday prayer), it is definitely obligatory to offer it in the mosque.

With regard to naafil prayers, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best of prayers is that which is offered in one’s house, except the obligatory prayers.”

Based on this, it is better for a person to offer voluntary prayers in his house, apart from the voluntary prayers which are prescribed in the mosque such as the eclipse prayer, assuming that it is not obligatory. And Allaah is the Source of strength. End quote.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him), Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 15/19

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen also said:

It is not permissible for anyone or for any group to pray in the home when the mosque is nearby. But if the mosque is far away, and they cannot hear the adhaan, then there is no sin on them if they pray in a congregation in the house. The heedlessness that some people exhibit with regard to this issue is based on the view of some scholars (may Allaah have mercy on them) that the purpose of praying in congregation is to bring people together in prayer even if that is not in the mosque, and that if people pray in congregation, even in their homes, then they have done what is required.

But the correct view is that it is essential for the congregation to be in the mosque, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I was thinking of ordering a man give the iqaamah…” End quote.

Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 15/20.

Source: https://islamqa.info/en/answers/72398/they-pray-in-congregation-at-home

Conclusion: If Jumuah is banned in your town because of Corona Virus and you have no other masjid to pray, then you should pray Dhur at home even if you make the number of people that can pray Jamah

It is said that two type of kings may find the yaomal qiyamat most difficult.

1. The unjust ruler who ruled without justice.
2. The just ruler who had no knowledge and ruled with ignorance.

You should be careful of the fatwahs you give.

Remember the letters rosullullahi saw sent to Heraculus the king of the Christians. Sahih Bukharin 001, hadith number 7 in the book of belief.
In that letter it states " if you refuse, then know that you are responsible for your followers"

If you give a misguiding fatwah that you have no knowledge of, then seek Allah's forgiveness that you do not bear the burden of those you misguide by it.

Give fatwahs with knowledge. Isla m does not allow you enter or leave a land with pestilence. That alone is a form of quarantine. It saves the ummah from contracting or spreading the virus. Allah knows best

*HOW TO PRAY TODAY FRIDAY WITH THE MOSQUES SHUTDOWN*

*Assalaamu Alaykum*

All praises be to Allah and may He add more peace and blessings upon the Prophet sallalahu Alaiyhi wa salam.

*According to the Islamic ruling, since today is Friday and we are not allowed to pray at the mosques, therefore; we should pray at our houses as zuhr prayer with the normal four rakat.

It is not permissible to pray in your houses as Jumu‘ah prayer, no matter the number of people in your house. Jumu‘ah prayer is only allowed in the mosques.

✅ *Please pray the normal four rakat of zuhr.*

❌Not as the two rakat of Jumu'ah.

❌Don't look at the number of people in your house.

Jumu‘ah is only allowed in the mosques, not at home.

*Please share this for others to benefit.*
May Allah accept it from us

*Allaahu ul musta'aan*
