Oyo Takes Action as Coronavirus Stumble the State. The Oyo State COVID-19 Security and Enforcement in joint collaboration with the rest of the world have taken on a fight against the spread of Coronavirus. This operations is set to enforce law at club houses, special gathering and public places in Ibadan and every part of the state.

The Executive Chairman, OYRTMA, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, distributed protective tools to the officers such as hand gloves, portable sanitizers, face masks and thermometers. Fagbemi charged the committee members to be professional in the exercise and respect fundamental human rights in the course of the operation.

He said: “The Oyo State COVID-19 Security and Enforcement sub-committee is made up of Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency and other security agencies and we have begun a special night monitoring and enforcement of Oyo State government’s directive aimed at curbing the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) among residents, particularly through transport operators, night clubs and other public places.”

Oyo State has recorded more confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 which led to a directive of a dusk to dawn curfew (7p.m. to 6a.m.) and suspension of interstate transportation into and out of the state with effect from Sunday night (March 29th, 2020) by Governor Seyi Makinde.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has ordered a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the state after two new confirmed cases were confirmed and 84 new suspected infections discovered.

"Suspected cases"....countries are taking measures,with functional test centers,fumigating everywhere,giving stimulus packages to their citizens and quarantining those infected....una still dey base una own on suspicion.

I reside in Ibadan the capital city of Oyo state... I can categorically say it that OYO STATE IS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THE VIRUS SPREAD!!!
