It claimed to be from the Lagos state government.
Has anyone gotten it or do you know anyone that has?

My mum got the same message and I replied Yes to the number stipulated in the message (08099809900) on her behalf.
I checked the phone number on Truecaller and the name returned was: Lasrra Fraudster

I just hope this Lagos state thing is true and will be replicated in other state especially here in Rivers state

You do know that Truecaller has a feature that allows users to recommend a name for a number.

I gave one scammer ''ritualist'' and since then I am sure anybody with true caller on their phone has refused to pick his scam calls.

What I am saying is that the number may not necessary be from a fraudster. It may be real.

Pls be patient until you get sufficient response from the right quarters ! Don't fall a victim in this Times..

The sender of the message is not a regular number but a 5-digit number (or so) and I believe it is legit
