Most essential human needs today

1. Data

2. Air

3. Water

4. Food
In that order
Data is not essential as you can do without it however the other three are because it might lead to death if they are not available instantly

This would be the best decision ever made by Buhariz govt

He urged them; the government cannot force them.

It would be a nice gesture if they do. But then, many of these network providers are just opportunists

Are they really? The govt tax this guys to death, did the govt consider reducing their tax so they can reciprocate?

Mtn for instance power all govt communications since the corona virus issue, power their teleconference, power all ncdc calls and SMS, gave them sims with unlimited calls and data.

What has the govt ever done for them?

Tax them to death, fine them for any issue, sieze their equipments.

Let's be realistic, the true enemy is the govt not companies whose shares have crashes globally, who still power their own base, diesels and co

If they want to offer Nigerians they should pay for it. There is no need to "urge" when you can pay.

He should have made that direct to his subscribers that needed it most. The government is for a selected few.
So after giving you free data and you catch the virus, nah data go cure you, abii free airtime will buy you ventilator. You'all should direct your anger to your leaders and leave a private citizen alone. He has done his bit, federal government are in the best position to procure equipments and infrastructure to curb the spread of the virus since they can make diplomatic urgent purchase.
