https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RDYCOAf8cg This video which occurred in Ghana to me is the best action I have seen an African military officer take so far since the COVID-19 lockdown across major West African countries. The officers caught a bus fully loaded with commuters who not only broke the sit at home order by the government, but were also not practicing social distancing, nor were they wearing face masks. That the normal violent act of punishing them which we have seen not only African soldiers carry out, the army officer took his time to address the commuters. He told them that it is better for them to go through the hardships at home, than risk contracting the virus and dying. He told then that they being the military officers would even have preferred staying at home, but have been deployed to make things easy for them (citizens) and country (Ghana).
