COVID-19: What Smart People Do In this Pandemic Lockdown by kingscare1(m): 5:47pm On Apr 02, 2020
COVID-19 came and overwhelmed the world, the government imposed a compulsory lockdown on people's day-to-day activities. Although looking at the virus-containing strategies that seem right, the intention is to easily identify and evacuate the infected ones from non-infected people for prompt regulated treatment which is laudable. In as much as the government doesn't appear efficient enough in tackling the menace, we only hope that the COVID-19 Pandemic will be a thing of the past.

Developed countries like Spain, the USA, Italy, China, etc had recorded a very high rate of fatalities which left everyone speechless and on their heels. Despite scientific and technological advancements still, the virus is having a very big negative impact worldwide. Developing African nations have little or no capacity to manage and contain the virus in case of an outbreak, that's fearful.

People around the world left their daily activities to stay at home in self-isolation against the rapid spread of the virus. Most already feeling bored, checking on social media, making calls, playing music and watching television shows just to feel better, it's a good way to keep the time rolling, understandably.

Naturally, nobody likes being trapped in a particular place, we are always on the move. Freedom is living and being trapped is a nightmare, unable to go to work or casually go out it's unthinkable, routinely waking up, sleeping again, eating, having fun, etc all in a certain place poses a danger to our social-economic activities. It's a sacrifice made to assist the government in the fight against the deadly virus COVID-19.

Smart people are the ones that benefit from these situations, they discover opportunities in the dark, transform bad moments to best, add plus during minus and try to seize good advantage of hard times. Many now engage in non-productive activities due to the Lockdown, actions that don't add any value to their overall well-being and personal development. Of course, we are in a free world but why don't we start engaging in super-productive activities like developing an area of one's life or expertise.

I choose to enhance my writing proficiency thanks to lockdown for such time lol. This article is a direct product of my decision to self-develop, not bragging but let's say it's motivational.

That being said, you can always do better, choose to be productive creatively and don't forget to have fun. It's all about developing our mind-fitness amidst the present pandemic lockdown.
