Samir101ng on the Strictly Internet Screenshot thread in the Computer Section uses a 7.2mbps modem. That's partly responsible for the very high download speeds he gets. Most modems out there are the 3.6mbps modems sha |

I think dt MTN made improvement on dis their 5,500 modems contrary 2insinuation 4rm sme people dt it aint gd.@least d USSD can function wit any ntwork sim as against wht d former ones.u can even save as many command codes as u like.d modem wen unlockd is even beta than d so called universal modems.i got one & ve ran tests on it & confirmd it |

aieromon: Even if you own a 7.2mbps modem you cant still enjoy it, men the ordinary 3.6mps modem we cant reach 1mbps whats the point of buying 7.2mbps modem kind of useless since you cant reach the actual speed. |

u guys looking for 7.2 modem should beta forget abt it and be contended with 3.6mbps modem because my nokia e72 which have 10mbps internet speed capacity; hardly give me 300kbps. |

C'mon guys. You'd get faster browsing and downloading speeds with a 7.2mbps modem than you'll get with a 3.6mbps modem. I use a 3.6mbps MTN Fastlink modem but I've tested a friends 7.2mbps Fastlink modem on my lapy and I've seen the difference. |
