As a follow up to an earlier post of pictures from Innoson “Manufacturing“ Plant, here are images of real automobile manufacturing plant.

There was nothing in those images from IVM plant that suggests manufacturing ...but assembling...Yes, you need some heavy equipment and also need to do some welding in the process of assembling but still does not make it a manufacturing plant.

There is no place on earth where a car is fully manufactured under one roof. The pictures you uploaded are for final assembly and the difference being this assembly plant is more advanced with use of robotics.

A car has more than 1000 components and these components come together at final assembly plants.

Bosch makes windscreen wipers for different car manufacturers.

Dunlop makes tyres. There are companies that make only car seats and supply Toyota, Honda and other car companies.

What car companies does is design and send their specifications to these sub contractors and they do the final ASSEMBLY of all the components in their plants.

There is no car manufacturer as you think in the world they all assemble.

Innoson does exactly what Honda, Toyota and the rest do. He orders his cars in knocked down components and assembles here in Nigeria.
