But why lie? Couldn't she had just made that point?

PS Why did the mod change my topic, Nkonjo Iweala pushed fake news and she was bursted why change the title to make her look innocent? This is morally bankrupt if you ask me, you can be pro PDP without becoming their propaganda arm.

The yeast love to help her out.
What is she proofing?.

When this is over, I would be disappointed if many negative-thinking Nigerians who love to condemn everything Nigeria do not migrate to Chad and Rwanda.

Sad that even erudite Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a former two-time Minister of Finance who failed to initiate diversification of the economy, will allow herself to be caught in this shameful display of unpatriotism. Sad!
What part of her statement and picture reference referred Nigeria? How does Nigeria Come into her message of social distancing? Or am I missing something? Kindly underline "Nigeria" in her writeup.

Why are Nigerians so quick to talk without thinking or understanding?. There are two statements in that post by NOI. The first statement emphasizes the need for social distancing in food sharing and she used the picture to illustrate.Nothing was said about Rwanda doing it that way.The second statement gave anpther example of social distancing in sharing food items to the poor using Rwanda as example that goes from door to door. What is so difficult in understanding what she wrote?

Read her post very well. She only used their situation to illustrate what we should do during this pandemic period. Hence, it is not a fake news

No offence Pls id like to ask if u are as educated as she is?

IpobAntidote:
I knew the whole thing is fake but I just couldn't locate the original source. This just goes to show you the level of depravity that exist among the so called mis educated (education without logic, morals and ethics) fools such as this woman. Always trying to bring the country to disrepute even though she was terrible when she was in govt.
Was she not in govt when about 700, 000 people applied, packed a stadium after paying 1000 Naira for 4000 jobs that does not even exist. People actually died for these none existing jobs.
I guess unemployment and hunger was not in the land back then.
By their posts, words, actions and reactions we shall know that retarded brainwashed IPOB Biafuro monkeys.

According to you because she was useless and incompetent as a government official in Nigeria. Speak for yourself.

I can tell you a million and one things we can do or could have achieved with the $2.3 billion she diverted and gave to Dasuki to share.

If this mistake had been made by Shehu or any other cabinet member, would you people have excused them this way?

This is the difference between an APC supporter and pdp supporters. APC supporters tend to admit the faults of government from time to time, but a pdp supporter CAN NEVER SEE ANYTHING WRONG with pdp or her agents.

It happened last year, the dishonest woman whose economic philosophy does not believe in Government handouts was just being the lousy human being she always has been, in trying to spite Nigeria to embrace a a model which she rejects she ended up disgracing herself as charlatan who spreads fake news out of spite like the likes of Reno the fool, Nnamdi cownu, Foulmouth kayode and et Al.
The good thing is under PMB Nigeria had it first social security model in place and that has swung into action.
thank God for nairaland you now have a voice. looking for an errors instead of aso rock to do the needful. her message is laud and clear.

They don't even realise the depth of the lie here, given their flimsy defences which they like and share in the hope of according them credibility.

First, the tweet lied about the country. Secondly, it lied about the occasion. Third, it lied about, MORE SIGNIFICANTLY, the giver.

It was an individual donation and not a government's.

The woman is a liar and a fake news purveyor.

Lol, the picture is faulty! This is a mistake. There's no amount of things you say or write that can would take away the fact that she made a mistake; unless her account was hacked and she didn't post it. Don't argue or try to twist the narrative: you're not talking to babies.

Nonetheless, her message is well gotten.

I expect her to be more diligent in her sourcing and sharing of information next time. She is a big figure in the world and mistakes like this shouldn't come from a person of her calibre.

I wish our mummy well.

She is a big figure so it is expected of her to verify before she makes any post.
She goofed on this
This event took place in 2019 in the Gambia and not Rwanda
This has nothing to do with covid-19 palliatives
This has nothing to do with Rwanda or its president

Lesson
Verify news before you post online . we are in the era of fake news
