Why is it taking the gods of science so long to find a vacine?
Even if it takes them 2 years, they will eventually come up with the cure. It would have taken Jehovah, Allah and the rest of the gods of religion till eternity to cure this same disease. Remember, it has already taken fictitious Jesus about 2000 years to return to end the world when he actually promised his disciples to come back during their generation.

This covid 19 pandemic issue in Nigeria is not clear to me
1)Why is it that politician are the ones bringing out the figures? At least we should be briefed by a well known doctor on what they are going through, the dangers health workers are passing through in attending to this large numbers of allegedly infected people,And what they need in order to perform their duties.

Erm, because it is a disease that is affecting the country economically and socially.??

Am sure if the political leaders were not addressing us, you people would promptly shout that they are not doing their jobs.

If you are a leader and are not on top of the situation, you are in trobule.

Besides, the head of NCDC is...a doctor. And twitter is his medium of addressing us.Health authorities have been addressing us.Or you don't see the comissioner of Health in Lagos for example speaking?

2)Why is it that no single clip or pics of this covid-19 patients on sick beds or ICU beds has surfaced on the media space in Nigeria, the way we see it on CNN and other foreign media instead of showing us chats of yellow green and red.

1.CNN and other media organizations don't show us patient's faces

2.PPE are scarce in Nigeria. To show pictures of patients , the cameraman, news journalists have to wear PPE. If Nigerian hospitals can't get enough PPE, what about journalists??

3.Patient's privacy. If you were sick, would you like it if someone came and showed your pictures to the world

4.With the paranoia around, what's to stop someone going to burn down the house of a covid 19 positive patient? Safety first.

3)Where are the dead covid-19 patients buried? And. Why don't they show their remains been moved from the hospital like we see in other countries that really have this covid-19.

Okay, do you know where all the covid 19 patients in the world are buried? What is your reasoning for finding out where they are buried? Why can't you respect people's privacy??

4)Why do some states have the same figure of infected people for more than a week now?does it mean that the first case didn't interact with anyone at all.?

That shows the isolation practice is working. Catch early, isolate early, the thing don't spread. Period.
5)Why haven't we heard of a single health worker been infected yet in Nigeria with our weak health care system and insufficient protective kits,or is it not the health workers taking care of the large figures of infected people?

And the doctor in Katsina who died was....??

Plus, most patients in Nigeria are asymptomatic. And they are isolated. The limited resources we have are focused on such patients.

Again, some health care workers might be infected. And yes, no one is going to broadcast their details because...privacy.

Stop being scared.

If you think they are looting....why don't you go and form your party and run for election. It is because people like you sit down at home that people like Buhari are ruling us.

too harsh a comment. The whole world is battling this scourge with one spirit, with many people helping alleviating the pains of others who are not related to them and you could only shade one of ours who has fallen to the scourge. not a time for sarcasm!
