Let's gather around and have a collective discussion of the issue on ground.

Should the government lift the ban on movement by tomorrow evening?

I'm of the opinion that the government should lift the ban, people who want to work should please go ahead and work and live their normal lives and stand the risk of getting infected.

While those who don't like the risk should stay at home and nurse their fears, probably till everything boils over (at least you can't get infected on your bed)

What do you guys think?

We should encourage the mandatory use of PPE before stepping out.

How come no one thought of this?

Imagine going out with your gas mask, leather gloves and protective googles..

This could actually the spread.. But does the government even think?

countries on lockdown are far from recovery due to late implementation of the lockdown process. It will be an error to lift the lockdown. Logically though, things will definitely get worse in terms of hunger and crime. This is were the governments preparedness comes in. We all know Nigeria is a reactive state and not a proactive one so we should all braze up for the times to come.

Then how come countries like Sweden have been able to manage the crises without ever instituting a lockdown...

They don't even understand the meaning of lockdown there.

lol. I already explained why. Sweden is not an epicentre. Countries that were able to manage it at the point of entry might not need a lockdown, but only time will tell. Either ways, don’t compare Nigeria with proactive countries, you’re not doing yourself any good.
