Questions Mr. Atiku Needs To Answer Urgently. by MaJBlige(f): 2:39pm On Jan 04, 2011

First of all The Atiku i grew up knowing is one who has failed to convince me that 20 years in the Nigerian customs is enough to make somebody a multi-millionaire without being corrupt, not to talk of owning almost every single privatised government property during the first tenure of Obasanjo.

secondly Sir before you left the PDP to contest under AC you were accused of diverting the sum of $125 million dollars of public development funds to your private company and you have not been able to clear the air over that allegation but i guess like you and i know Nigerians have short memories so its easy to forget once we scream wolf and go to court where the case would either be adjourned indefinitely or quashed by some obscure ruling by any judge whose pocket is well lined up enough to see reason(s) why such charges can not hold.

Outside The Nigerian customs you have not done any other gainful employment which we know of but yet you own several firms among which is Intels Nigeria Limited an oil services company which operates in Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe and as such during your 8 years as vice president your regime made sure that Nigerians had to queue up to get fuel which we were naturally blessed with just to protect your interest "abi" are you not the same owner of African petroleum?

Thirdly for a man who aspires to rule this great nation not to be able to visit the United state of america on the grounds of fear of corruption charges leveled against him or is the Jefferson/Mody telecommunication case involving the $100.000 case over ?please inform Nigerians we want to know.at least if all was well you wouldn't put your potomac mansion up for sale just because of a simple subpoena.being a case study in America for corruption is enough for anybody to go back there and clear his name but not you rather you decided to relocate your family to Dubai.

so far your names has featured prominently on the following corruption charges involving Halliburton, Daimler, Willbros and Congress man, William Jefferson. As for me, i do not see you as the perfect candidate to rule this country as you have been involved with every single government since 1975 and have benefited very well from each one so you my dear fiend do not have anything good to offer this country except to make us poorer than we already are.

Why do we have a President and the judiciary if Atiku that has been accused of corruption is walking freely and contesting for Presidency?

That means the current president is incompetent and actually aiding and abbeting corruption thereby has failed in his responsibilities.

If Atiku is a thief and GEJ administration has failed to prosecute him then GEJ is a bigger thief

If gej tries that now it may be a political scandal for gej but i blame the anti graft agencies. I think if gej wins the general election, then watch out for the movie

If GEJ is waiting to prove that Atiku is a thief, Why not wait till he has concluded his investigation before proclaiming Atiku a thief?

At this point in time Atiku is not a thief according to Nigerian records and Law says "Innocent until proven guilty"

Why should we put the cart before the horse and label someone who hasnt been convicted of any crime a criminal?

At this Point we can say Atiku is a saint just like GEJ until a competent court finds him guilty

Atiku has nothing to clear his name from What are the allegations?

Has any allegation been made in court? Or should Atiku start visiting every beer parlour and Isi Ewu joint to be clearing his name in front of drunkards?

Where are the allegations Atiku has to clear himself of?

When it was alleged that GEJ and his wife looted Bayelsa, Did GEJ bother to answer the lame allegations? Any allegation should be taken to court and not under mango trees

You people forget 2007 so easily? When EFCC advised he be banned in 2007, what did people say? EFCC was being used by OBJ against him because of his averment to the 3rd Term Project.

Basically you are admitting the GEJ administration is powerless to stop a corrupt criminal and prosecute him?

When GEJ becomes president rogues would be walking freely in the country

That more than anything else shows GEJ is incompetent and unfit to rule.

Exactly! That is the reason why the OP asked this lil group of questions. Did you miss them?

Why couldn't the man and his family accept their day in court and honour their numerous subpoena's, instead they sold their Potomac mansion in a hurry for cheap and fled the US like bats out of hell forever and ever, never to return? Why? Why?

Questions, questions, weighty questions! grin

Atiku Campaign Organization

Atiku In The Kangaroo Court Of Political Opponents: Ordinarily we would have ignored the report captioned “US: Atiku Abubakar In $40 Million Money-Laundering Accusation With Wife, Jennifer” carried by Saharareporters and circulated by mischief makers as it was an outright lie and obvious manipulation of information to smear the rising profile of the former Vice President and the PDP frontline presidential aspirant in the 2011 election.

First, it was very obvious from the write-up that the report was ill intended and a smear campaign against the former Vice President and his family.

These allegations are not original. They are rehashed by political enemies to smear Atiku as a formidable challenger to the incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan.

The U.S Congress did not charge Atiku or members of his family with any wrong doing. If these were the case, that would have led to indictment and criminal charge. We all know how the United States operates globally. America not only shares information with its partners all over the world, America can get an erring man or woman from any part of the world and subject them to criminal trial whether such persons are U.S. citizens or not.
The report has not established that Atiku made the money in question, or any money in his possession illegally or from sources of criminal origin.

Even before becoming a vice president, Atiku Abubakar had huge business interests and has global investments estimated at millions of US Dollars. Even before becoming a vice president, he was able to meet his needs in life based on his legitimate earnings from his investments.

Atiku had served under a very hostile and vindictive president and therefore, he couldn’t have taken any risks, were he so inclined, of stealing money from government when it could potentially be used against him.

For whatever reasons, the American authourities seem to have problem understanding that Atiku has his own money, which he transferred to the university and some of his interests in the US and other areas.

We have provided enough explanation on this matter but for reasons yet unknown to us to the U.S Senate and from all that we know, the issues that had earlier on been misunderstood have been cleared. The family doesn't have issues with issues with the US Senate or anyone in America concerning this or any other matter. But since this is a season of politics; dirty politics for that matter, there is no way we can stop people from have continued to whip up this old and baseless story for mischief.

It is not true that the wife of the former vice president, Mrs. Jemila Atiku Abubakar, has any problem with the authorities either in the US or UAE to warrant either an investigation or arrest and repatriation to the US.

As we talk, she is still a very free citizen of the US and legally resident in Dubai. She has no plans to relocate to Switzerland.
We also not aware that the US government is pressuring the Dubai authourities to arrest Mrs Abubakar and hand her over to America for trial.

Your readers should not be taken for a ride by mischievous politicians.
Signed,
Atiku Campaign Organisation,
Abuja, Nigeria.

We are all well aware that there are no laws in this country so trying to be educated with the issue of corruption in the country simply amounts to being silly. The saying 'innocent until proven guilty' has never applied to Nigeria, if it has would someone explain to me why are so many people in prisons all over the country without trial.
It seem we don't realise that the money these bastards are stealing is our money cause if we do we wont tolerate people like Atiku Abubakar let alone accommodate the thought of him vying for the presidency of this country.
I believe we need to change our attitude and start calling a spade a spade. If Atiku is not guilty of any of these allegations then he should respect Nigerians and lay it bare. Stupid thief
