COVID might as well be affecting the aquatic world.

I ate food today, no fish.

But fishes are wasting somewhere on the same Earth I'm dwelling.

Chai!!

Money waste! Protein waste!! Lives wasted!!!

May their souls rest in perfect peace.

I do hope God gives the families and loved ones of these dead fishes the fortitude to bear this Irreplaceable Loss!!!!

I thought a Google image search on another thread had disproved the authenticity of this image/news

Thought so too. Apparently someone didn't get the memo.

Oil pollution?
What else?

BBC documentary last year said babies in the Niger delta are dying like chicken due to environmental pollution.

But even if humans die like that in the Niger delta, it shall not stop the Nigerian groups that believe crude oil is all there is for a country to survive from telling us that crude oil is national asset.

They better make haste to dispose of them either via cremation or burial before they decompose.

Dshocker:
This was caused by oil spillage

No it is not. It is affecting only one species. And then again the pus filled boil is sign of an infection.

It's the result of oil pollution, no doubt.

That's one of the disadvantages of riverine communities.

Painfully enough, despite all the suffering, they get nothing. I mean nothing..... social infrastructure, potable water, electricity, good roads, schools and so....

Yet, some bastards in the North will just sit down lazily, marry four wives, bang them at will, give birth like pigs, and when it's time to share revenue, they use "population size" as a criteria for revenue sharing.
Nonsense! Absolute Nonsense....

Maybe you should go and do a little research on amount of money that has been allocated and disbursed to the NDDC since its inception, then you know who the bastards are.

So many people do not know anything about the environment they live in. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs every year when this particular species of fish spawn i.e mate. They travel great distances to their place of birth and then after mating, they die in their millions and the next generation is left to fend for themselves. The only newsworthy thing about this is that the tide chose to bring the dead fishes to our shores this year. This is not pollution as it would have affected a variety of species and not just one it that was the case. Let's try and watch documentaries once in a while.
