If PENGASSON shuts down, who do you think would be affected most between Wike and FG? undecided
It is wike , federal government will still generate income from other region but wike rely on monthly allocation and his internal revenue is from these same company he is fighting.

I agree with your line of thought my brother. Everything is understanding planning and discussing. As leaders decision should be made based on happenings and reassessing the situation on groud

I laugh in Spanish. Were are all those that were hailing him? How market?

No doubt I commend his efforts so far however he shows unnecessary power play. He can be too emotional and lacks finesse in matters that requires tact and diplomacy. He could have handled the situation differently and gained public applaud worthy of emulation by other states govt.

Now he just ridiculed himself on a matter, he was 100% correct. What stops him from working with DPR, IOCs , Helicopter operators and state health officials to develop procedures for all offshore personnel transiting the state this period? States like Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa would have copied it.

He who fights and run away, lives to fight another day.
Wike has sent a message, and anybody entering his state will do well to inform him to avoid any form of embarrassment.
Sometimes when u can't fight a much bigger opponent, u make noises d loudest and those around will be begging u to calm down.
Once u heed that advice of staying calm, even Ur opponent can't tell of Ur capabilities and he will always respect u.
Wike is wise.
Those are people providing essential services.
Even under lockdown, everybody still uses fuel.
Wike is just playing politics with this matter.
But his admirers like you are blinded by political and ethnic affiliations

No, you cannot just stand up and do it. He didn't declare it because by all reasonable standard, there were better alternative and the situation was not uncontrollable. But let me ask you, if you are a president and a state governor declare war on your nation through sponsoring criminals to attack key personnel and national assets, what will you do? Remember, the argument was hinged on Wike sponsoring militants and creating a security situation for the government.

the argument started from a president withholding the allocation of a state....... there is also no legal backing for that.

even the president power is limited.... especially in a fragile country like Nigeria

the people will not starve while they feed the country

Whether we like it or not rivers state government is only government that has successfully tackles this corona virus due to it's promptly strict preventive measures. Unlike other states that allow their people to contract, treat, discharge or they died. The best way to fight this novel diseases so far according to ongoing research and available data is preventive measures. Financial gains do not equates life.

So in your imagination Rivers State has done better than Lagos State?

Don’t you see that the behaviours of the Governors, all of them, shows that there’s a vacuum in Aso Rock?

You PDP goons and miscalculations.buhari has no best friend but best friends.am sure if he was at the burial, you will criticize as usual.the vacuum exists in your imaginations.atiku's loss settled every permutations about buhari and apc or the presidency.the earlier yous stop bothering about buhari, the better

Let us assume the argument started with allocation withholding, into a governor sponsoring criminals against state, do you really believe a state government can fight the central government and win? Fragile as you think the country is according to your assertion, the FG has too much power for a state to challenge it to a fight. There is a reason why Wike backtracked

Oga leave this noise. The people in the know how have acted accordingly and you are here talking. Firstly, the FG acted wisely and maturely unlike the unrefined Wike. It doesn't take FG anything to remove Wike or render him powerless through a state of emergency due to security issues, if by any chance there is Intel that he is sponsoring militants. The highest thing is people will make noise online for two days and it will be over, yet government will do what it wants.

Why didn't obasanjo rendered tunubu useless when he withdrew fund. Oga what will be the reason for state of emergency. If it happens u and i including the fed will feel the hit. Dis is not military time. Eye don open, he will bring the govt to negotiating table. When oil pipeline start burning oil company start running from Nigeria coz of the crisis.

you think Wike will come out to tell you he sponsored militants ?

there won't be a fight. River State will just manage their resources.
or you think Rivers State will fight alone?

Wike did not just backtrack. there were negotiations behind the scenes.

First, Lagos is not Rivers. Compare their GDP and take it from there. Secondly, if you follow the discussion, someone suggested that Wike will sponsor militants against the nation, hence the angle of state of emergency which is constitutional when security issues in a state is uncontrollable. And I think non of us know more than wike, who retraced his steps after swearing on national TV. So let us not argue here
