Why won't we under test when what all those at the hem of affairs think is to loot.....

Just imagine the gaps....
S/A with about 59 million people have conducted over a hundred thousand tests.
Ghana with about 39 million citizens have carried out over 68,000 tests.

But Nigeria that have over 200 million citizens has only conducted 8k tests.

We are always behind on things that matters!

I thought the president in his last broadcast boasted that we have(as that time) tested a thousand three abi five hundred daily. So if anything, we should be on at least a two to three thousand daily test by now..
So why are still doing under 500 and not even a thousand.. So the president was actually scaming it's entire citizens. What a world.
If he couldn't be truthful with our test capabilities, how sure are we about other mentions in his empty very uninspiring broadcast. Shame on you sycophants.

Ghana does not have the kind of resources that we have budgeted and disbursed for the coronavirus yet they have tested more people..

Nigeria that have disbursed more money has tested fewer and u re praising the system that have lived below expectations

Ohh weep for my life.. why am I in same country with people like u..

Go forward u dont want yet secretly u re complaining about the consequences of going backward.. u still refused go forward,

Nigeria has so far tested 8,003 persons for COVID-19, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

This is still far below a number of African countries including Kenya, which has a population of 53 million, almost four times less than that of Nigeria.

It is also below that of Ghana, a country of 39 million people, which is at least six times less than Nigeria’s population.

In its latest COVID-19 situation report released on Monday the NCDC stated the number of tests as of the end of Sunday, with 367 persons tested in those previous 24 hour.

The data shows the country’s testing capacity is still far below the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) recommendation of mass-testing.

When compared to other African countries, it also suggests Nigeria is lagging behind on the continent.

According to the Worldometres, the global statistics platform, Ghana, for instance, has tested a total of 68,591 persons for coronavirus, 60,000 more than that of Nigeria.

At 13,872, Kenya has tested more than 6,000 persons above Nigeria. At 121,510, South Africa has the continent’s highest testing capacity.

With a population of 59 million, this means the country has tested one in 486 citizens, compared to Nigeria’s ratio of 1:25,000.

Last week, the NCDC said it will commence mass testing for COVID-19 between May and September.

Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Senegal, Gambia, Mauritius and so on are either more mature tourists destinations or places Europeans/ foreigners frequent more than they do Nigeria and Covid-19 ought technically be disproportionately more widespread in these nations than Nigeria.

Individuals would better use the time wasted on praying and wishing calamity for Nigeria on prayers for the betterment of their families and whatever nation they originate. Mean wishes contort and impoverish the soul and manifest physically in overt or covert ugliness that scare either the opposite sex or children and animals such as cats and dogs. In short, you’d be eeking negative vibes evident in finding that people generally never take to you at first. smiley

Whiles in Ghana we have conducted 63,000 test with about 1,200 samples awaiting to be tested. But the population of Lagos state is almost equal to that of Ghana. I think you need a vibrant opposition and political analyst and columnist to criticize the govt constructively. I think that is what is helping Ghana.
