Nigerians Remember Dagrin today, the great Icon who died from the complications caused by the fatality of the car accident he had in 2010. Olamide Olaitan Olaonipekun who was popularly known as Dagrin was a Nigerian rapper from Ogun State in Nigeria. On 22th of April 2010, He died at the age of 25 after a vehicle collided with his car which resulted in a fatal accident. But before his death, Dagrin was a known rapper loved by many Nigerians, mostly the Yorubas. this is because of his lyrics on any song he sings or features. His talent act made him well recognised by popular Nigerian singers who featured him. Dagrin was signed under the record label of Misofunyin Entertainment. Nigerian Artistes like MI, Iceberg Slim, Terry G, Chudy K, Bigiano, Konga, Kenny Saint Brown and other artistes collaborated with him. Still, in 2010, His hottest singer titled “Pon Pon Pon” was a hit that year, and as a matter of fact, He was nominated for the Nigerian Entertainment Award for Best Album, Best Rap Act and Best Collaboration with vocals. The future is one thing we can't tell, i still remember when MI, Iceprince, Jesse Jagz Brymo came into the scene and dominated the rap game with Brymo on the hooks, today, though talented, this guys are no longer A listers, even B list sef, plenty people go still exclude 'em. Remember say music no dey like football, Peoples' taste and the sound the may like changes, but since i was born a goal is a goal and Naira marley no fit become Messi 1 Like |
