I had serious issues with my wife because of our maid, she even accused me of sleeping with her, beat the maid and inflicted bodily harm, I gave her a dirty slap for mistreating the girl which shocked her and she reported me to relations. I called her family that I was going to end the marriage, I had to be a man of the house for once, I gave her too much hand to run things prior to that time and that's the situation of the husband here which has landed him in big trouble as an accomplice.

I told them that in my house as a rule everyone must be treated equally, the maid must eat what my kids eat, be clothed the way my kids are clothed such that when we go out no one should notice the difference.
She couldn't take it and fired her, I made sure she got all that was due to her and paid her more money with advice on how to be a good woman.

After that she wanted to employ another one but I put a stop to it, if you can't treat them well no need to engage them, she lamented about work in the house but I have maintained my stand until I am fully convinced that she has changed 360 degrees

I don't understand the level of hatred in them. I once had a close neighbour who's wife is something else, ironically she is a pastor's wife for that matter. Another one almost killed the little niece of about 8 years staying with her. The maltreatment is just normal. But at the end, blame should go to the parents who intentionally produce kids beyond their ability. Except for the few ones who was faced with tragedy of losing their lives or ill.

Because of food. Someone that takes care of your child. Does she pay her up to 20k?

Since she couldn't afford the pay why not discontinue her service and return her to her agent?

It is not a must to have a house maid if one doesn’t have the fanancial capacity to service her salary.

If what a house maid does is that very easy, the wife should have opt doing all the house chores instead of employing a house maid.

They employed a house maid and had to start disagreements on salary and arrears which have always been negotiated and settled even before bringing in the maid.

The way some families treat their maids most times doesn’t always make one to have sympathy for the children of the families.

The lazy and selfish wife didn't want to work so she employed house maid yet didn't want to pay her. After the dragging for her deserved wages the housemaid was killed. We need serious worker protections in this country. Some people think they can treat people who work for them anyhow. Think about the other people being abused that we never heard about.

If that was the case, the rope (cloth) would have snapped (torn). What it looked like is that the rope loosened, so her legs are touching the floor.

If everyone were to be judged based on social "media jury",then I doubt there would be need for autopsy because I am sure,if a proper autopsy is done and it came out she died by strangulation,your type would still spin it to say she was strangled by the woman who now staged the suicide.
