OtemAtum: Attending services has little or nothing to do with our faith. The church is not the buildings but our very hearts. The faith is getting stronger irrespective of the happenings. The church is indeed moving forward. No man or a thing can humiliate the only one God, don't be mistaken. Draw closer to Him and the essence of life will become clearer to you. Thanks. 2 Likes |

SharonLoveth: The check the proofs below: 1 Samuel: 15. 3. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. - Bible Offline Isaiah: 20. 2. At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. 3. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; 4. So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. - Bible Offline if you are offended by this revelation, then you should understand that nobody has the monopoly of trolling. SharonLoveth: Aunty way mumu!!! Didn't understand the verse. Picked it up and interpreted as she wanted. Yes, the Muslims were commanded to fight the enemies of Allaah but the wars were because the Kuffar were the ones who started it by (physically) attacking Islam and Muslims. If you had read the whole story and not just picked a verse, you would have seen it just after that verse you quoted, the following words: Quran 8:13: That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. Did you see that? the commandment to fight the Kuffar wouldn't have happened but it was to defend and exterminate all those who stood in the way of Islam, drove the Muslims out of their homes and persecuted the Muslims. Hence the words "this is because they opposed Allaah and his messenger". If you read the biography of the Prophet and the background of each wars, you'll understand better. If only you had opened your heart to the truth, you would have realised that. but even with that, in a legitimate war (In Islam), women, children, monks, people who are worshipping peacefully in the places of worship and people who are not wielding any arms and animals are commanded to be spared and not be killed and properties should NOT be destroyed. Only those who wielded arms against the Muslims fighters should be fought. See below: At times of war against the kuffaar, it is not permissible for a Muslim to deliberately kill a kaafir child or woman who is not bearing arms against the Muslims or helping in the fight. It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to the Muslim army: “Go out in the name of Allaah and by the help of Allaah, following the way of the Messenger of Allaah. Do not kill any old man, infant, child or woman… spread goodness and do good, for Allaah loves those who do good.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2614; its isnaad includes Khaalid ibn al-Faraz, of whom Ibn Hajar said in al-Taqreeb, he is maqbool (acceptable) i.e., if there are corroborating reports) This is supported by the advice which Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq (may Allaah be pleased with him) gave to the commander of his army: “I advise you of ten things: do not kill a woman, or a child, or any old person, or cut down any fruit trees…” (al-Muwatta’, 982, Kitaab al-Jihaad). The kaafirs whom the Muslims fight and inflict harm and loss upon are the kaafirs who fight the Muslims and drive them out of their homes, or help to drive them out of their homes and punish and mistreat them, and who stand in the way of calling people to Islam and prevent people from following the path of Allaah, and prevent the spread of Islam. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allaah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers those who disobey Allaah).”[al-Mumtahinah 60:9] Such people are to be fought against when [the Muslims] have the power to do so, and when fighting them and declaring jihad against them is more likely to serve a purpose. But when you can achieve your purpose with gentleness and kindness, it is not right to resort to violence and force. Muslims should only use force when they are compelled to, and as a last resort. They should not initiate fighting, unless there is some cause on the part of the kaafirs, such as their fighting the Muslims, or helping other enemies of the Muslims, or preventing them from following the path of Allaah and establishing the law of Allaah in the land. (From Islamqa.info) ********************************** With regard to those who are not involved in resistance and fighting – such as women, children, monks, old men, the blind, the chronically ill, and so on – they are not to be killed, according to the majority of scholars, unless they fight in word or deed… because we are to fight those who fight us, if we want the religion of Allaah to prevail, as Allaah says (Interpretation of the meaning): “And fight in the way of Allaah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allaah likes not the transgressors” [al-Baqarah 2:190] (From islamqa.info) You see? that explains every thing! The Kuffar are only to be fought if they initiate the fighting and only those who fight against us should be fought. But look at Yahweh asking them to go and kill women, children and animals and DESTROY EVERYTHING Now, tell me? Which is worse Which is more violent?? Can you now see that guidance (and maybe sense) is FAR from you? Thank God you didn't deny that Yahweh is a bloody terrorist who found joy in killing innocent little children and animals... And He is a shameless unrealistic being who wanted to use the unclothedness of his slave for sign and wonder, But in addition to that, do you also know he is a freaking dirty being who asked one of his creations to eat barley cakes that was baked with dung (feaces)? Lemme show you: Ezekiel: 4. 12. And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. - Bible Offline I Hope you've eaten your human feaces flavoured barley cakes this morning It was yummy, right What a dirty Yahweh! |
