About Grace Hopper
Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper was born on December 9, 1906. And died on January 1, 1992. However, this is according to ComputingHistory.org. Also, she was an American computer scientist. And United States Navy officer.

Furthermore, as a pioneer in the field, note. She was one of the first programmers of the Harvard Mark I calculator. Also, she developed the first compiler for a computer programming language.

However, because of the breadth of her accomplishments and her naval rank, she is sometimes referred to as “Amazing Grace”. Furthermore, she went on to work as an associate professor at Vassar College until the outbreak of World War II.

The Grace Hopper Celebration GHC 20 is one of the World’s biggest gathering of Women in Technology. Also, the Programme is named after Grace Hopper a Computer Scientists and a US Navy Officer.

Also, the event is an opportunity to meet the best in the Women in Tech Society. Additionally, the Conference also provides opportunities for Women in Tech that are just starting.

Microsoft
Microsoft awards this the Grace Hopper Celebration Scholarships to Student earlier than any other Company. Also, the Scholarship is for United States students, Canada, and Mexican Students.

Google
Also, Google offers this scholarship. And it does this through the AnitaB.org. Also, it awards the Scholarships to College, University and even High School Seniors yearly. And the Scholarship takes them to the GHC annually.

Goldman Sachs
They award Scholarships to 25 female engineers. However, they must demonstrate the best academic performance. Also, exceptional leadership and an unending passion for learning.

Yeah! With Facebook on the list, the Grace Hopper Scholarship has recorded a total of 4 companies offering the Scholarships. And they award about 50 Female Students the GHC Scholarships.
