but as a Christian hope you know God won't tell you that? If it ain't wrong I hope you watch it with your mom, dad, family and friends, I hope you don't clear your browser history cos of shame (why feel ashamed of something that's not wrong?). The feeling you get when you're caught in the pornographic act is different from the feeling you get when making out with your wife

The bible said;
"we feel ashamed when the light shines over the deeds we indulge in at night".

This discussion isn't about what's good or bad in pornography If you're reading this because you're tired of the reiterate cuffs pornography has on you, then let's go on.

Pornography is cited when explicit nude materials (Videos, photos, etc) are engaged in when one seeks for a way out whenever his or her sexual urges arises. Research has it that more men are involved in pornography than women.

Let's come back to our daily life.
WHY PORNOGRAPHY

most people feel and think that the sin of wanking (Masturbation) and fornication is way bigger than pornography but they're wrong Jesus said;

"... If you look at a lady and picture her in a sexual imagination, you've fornicated..."

meaning pornography isn't far fetched.

You may say;

"Sir Semaj, I was turned on, my sexual urges triggered by my independent hormones set my whole body on fire and I needed to cool the crave that's why I took the pornographic turn" but you and I know that "Just this once and I won't do it again" are the first statements of most addicts. It may kill the crave for that day but it will heighten the next one since it seems you've now found a way out.

POINTS TO NOTE

1). To fight pornography, you need to pray. You need to call out to the King and the one who has never suffered any witness. You can't just bank on your self-control and willingness not to fall. You need someone bigger than you and this can't happen till you PRAY and cry out to your Father who's in heaven.

2). Stop being idle. An idle mind gets employed by the devil and one trick against your sexual urge is to be disciplined. If you watch pornography by 10 pm when you're jobless, put in an activity to fill in that space when you decide to give up on pornography

3). You need to learn how to stop pretending. Know what turns you on and stay away from it. It can be chats, movies, music videos etc. When we were little, we always close our eyes when he's about to kiss her but now its our parents who look the other way.

4). Guide what goes into your mind via your eyes (the bible in Matthew said ... The eyes is a doorway into your mind and you're the light of the world, if you feed your mind with darkness through your eyes, imagine how dark the world would be?) Your brain registers what you see especially the naughty things and it will cheerfully replay them in your hour of seriousness or idleness.

5). Your hormones and sexual urges can't be turned off but you can turn your phone off. Its quite hard resisting a tempting temptation but that's what makes victory sweeter

6). Pornographic temptation is high amongst singles and virgins. Yuppie. You can't stop fantasizing about the first experience and how you want it to be. The urges are heightened daily so you keep looking for a way to suppress it since you're not in immoral relationships like others where fornication is legal, you find a way out unknown to you, the way out was a way into addiction

7). Does Jesus hate you cause you're watching pornography?

No, off course not but he hates the fact that you're watching it, it makes him sad like the whips and nails He took was just for nothing like you didnt understand when He said "Your body is the temple of God".

. What do I stand to gain by getting addicted to pornography: you gain a lot of nothing. You're gonna be like a hungry fella who just can't get satisfied. But you'll be losing a lot. As a Christian you're gonna be stuck going over the guilty man's prayer. You're gonna lose concentration. Your achievements will be shortened. Believe it or not you won't be your best. Have you seen how less productive you are watching movies throughout the day, this time your mind will be less productive

9). You're gonna develop a sexual appetite that can't be satisfied. As a lady you're gonna be sounding like "he's too small" etc. Cos you've fantasized about what you want no matter how dirty so when you don't get it on your matrimonial sex bed, you become angry and that's where adultery comes into play

10). Can I break the addiction: Definitely Yes. Jesus can help you break the addiction. You might have tried tons of times and given up but hey, you haven't tried Jesus, have you

So today, change your mindset, stop bothering about how you wanna stop watching the pornography and start leaving like you've never heard the word pornography.
