All I see is tragedy as the government plans on relaxing the lockdown. With this move we are preparing for an impending danger.......Wide spread of the virus that will overwhelmed our health system.

I hate to be a prophet of doom but this is a reality.

Regular people might get sick and might also get infected when admitted in the hospital.

Pregnant women will get infected before, during and after pregnancy because they will like to visit the inefficient hospital.

Everyone will enter the same taxi, bus and other means of transportation......Imagine having just one infected person in the bus ( wild fire).

So many people will be careless enough to fail or forget the need for continuous use of soap and water as well as hand sanitizers ( massive spread).

So many people will care less and forget about the use of face mask ( they are not use to it).

locking down and providing for the needs of the people for now remains the best option to curb the virus( my opinion).

When reality sets in remember this piece.

Jobless fellow! People are getting ready to go back to work and you're still here looking for lockdown.

Your assertions are sadly true. It's not about going back to work and getting infected and infecting people everywhere you go. The disease was never contained. As at now over 1000 plus people have been infected and counting. This was behind the backdrop of quarantine, social distancing and government lockdown. Yet the figures keep escalating. Op , you are not a prophet of doom but a person deeply rooted in reality. Self denial is never a remedy for problems

You people talk like a child which I am convinced you are, the WHO and everyone following this development knows that it will take over a year to develop a vaccine, should we now lockdown till a vaccine is developed?
Worse countries are learning to live with this reality through hygiene and social distancing else, economically we are doomed

What you said is the truth and nothing but the truth.
Peharps, you may have read of the mysterious deaths happening in Kano State lately. It is not a mystery, it is coronavirus. As it is in Kano State, so it was in Bergamo, New York City and all the other places.
Before long, dead bodies will liter the streets of Kano and any other place that is not on total lockdown.

Like you rightly mentioned, total lockdown and palliatives are the best measures to break the chain of transmission of this virus. Sadly, our heartless, wicked, incompetent and clueless politicians will not give out to the needy now.
Worst days are coming. Nigerians will have it very bad in coming days because of hunger and covid-19 induced deaths.
It is what it is. There is no sugar coating this reality that will hit us soon...

What you have said is true, but the hunger virus is strong than coronavirus.

Bullshit, What If I told you it's Actually for the best, See, humans either adapt or nature balances things out. The lockdown would have been effective with door to door testing which unfortunately cannot be done in a Nigeria with brainless leaders. Even if they did, it won't still be as effective as letting the humans gain natural immunity against the virus. Research up on herd immunity and how it's gained.

Yeah, people will die but the more immune people get, the lower the number that can get infected again. That's what basically happened during the Spanish flu pandemic. Some of those who kept on attending to the sick people even when exposed to it gained immunity and most affected even survived it until the numbers of infections dropped. Isolation defeats that purpose and is mostly a ploy by those who want to foist dubious vaccines on the population. People who don't study history are bound to repeat it. Tokyo didn't impose lockdown and has less numbers, Italy did and it skyrocketed. Think people, something isn't right
