As at early last year, there were news everywhere that the Nigeria police force would receive a much improved salary. Infact television stations were advertising it that the police wont take bribe with the new salary, to a certain extent i was impressed until today when i made contact with some policemen.
I found out the only improvement in their salary was just the new 5k added during the implementation of the minimum wage as against the claim by the F.G early 2019.

Heres the salary approved by the F.G last year.

1. Police Constable (PC) II – N84,000.

2. Police Constable (PC) I – N86,000.

3. Sergeant Copral (SC) – N96,000.

4. Sergeant Major (SM) – N119,000.

5. Inspector Of Police (IP) II – N167,000.

6. Inspector of police (IP) I – N254,000.

7. Assistant Superintendent of police (ASP) II – N271,000.

8. Assistant Superintendent of police(ASP) I – N296,000.

9. Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP) – N321,000.

10. Superintendent of Police (SP) – N342,000.

11. Chief Superintendent of police (CSP) – N419,000.

12. Assistant Commissioner of police (ACP) – N483,000.

13. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) – N531,000.

14. Commissioner of police (CP) – N1.5million.

Nigeria Police that we all know will never make their salary known to the public. They will keep insisting nothing is added. OP, If the new salary structure you posted here is anything to go by, then I must be frank with you that the Nigerian current wage bill cannot accommodate that considering the price of crude oil at the international market.

Police deserves no Salary. They should keep on living on bribes. The poster may be related to a Policeman, just know that the curses of the people will not let any Policeman to do well in life no matter how much they earn.

They all make X10 of that salary before the end of the month. It's just that they are too greedy.
