Kerosine explosion kills trader and her 2 kids



A middle-aged woman and her two children, both under 10, have been burnt to death in a fire disaster that occured inside their one-room apartment at Alikor estate in Choba, Rivers State.



The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday 28th April 2020. The fire is suspected to have been caused by the adulterated kerosene she poured into her cooking stove.


Their bodies have been evacuated. adulterated Kerosene is very dangerous and can kill the whole members of a family. in fact there is nothing like kerosene explosion, what they are calling kerosene is not kerosene rather unrefined fuel.



Although, the fake kerosene is very cheap when compared with the original one, most petrol stations sell the adulterated kerosene, some mix both original with fake to gain more profit because the fake one is very cheap.
