ENIOLA BADMUS React To Alleged N500,000 Giveaway Fraud by Nobody: 12:02am On Apr 30, 2020
Eniola Badmus was given the sum of N500k to share with some poor Nigerians to help cushion the effect of the lockdown caused by the deadly COVID-19 in the country and she held onto the money after the sponsor refused to pay her N150,000 for the giveaway services.

To worsen the case, Eniola Badmus has allegedly blocked the sponsor from reaching her.

She wrote;

This particular person indicated interest to do a five hundred thousand Naira giveaway and i felt there will be extra cost for bank charges and stamp duty, which i wasn’t going to bare the transfer charges for that, so i asked he bares it.

But in scenarios where people engage you as an influencer to drive giveaways from a business point of view, then business conversations need to happen.

Meanwhile i posted the giveaway already on my page and his been enjoying the fame because he insisted i put his handle.

We all know sending money to 100 people is quite tasking, is just funny the way people are quick to judge.”

No, that was her Service Chargé + Bank Charges!

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's business. She has the followers and someone was trying to get them off her with the juicy offer/free money.

It's a lot of work scouting for winners amongst several commenters. A lot of work, transferring money to new accounts (stress of keying in those digits). A lot of work when you have to stay glued to your phone to achieve this.

Pls spare her. It's strictly business from both perspectives. If not, then, the fella could have done it on his handle.

I had a heated exchange with people on FB over this issue. For the guy requesting his handle be on the promo, he had a business he was trying to play smart about and she was able to decipher.

Some footballers from my home state of Akwa Ibom gave close to 3 million and used their FB acct. They are not popular guys but made the announcement ahead and people stormed their page at the onset of giveaway. One gave 1.25M spread out for 5 days.

So the catch here is, the guy needed publicity from a particular handle to draw followers, cos he knows he has needy people on his main account who cant give the drive he wants.

IT's BUSINESS.
But he wanted to play smart.
