its really a shame that some people u think are wise, will actually believe this thing, but at the end of the day,it was meant for them to believe.u dont even need nuch knowledge to know that this is full of crap, take for example.the suppose blackmail the money he allegedly embezzled, try to find out if its true.if there is anytin like dat at all,if there isn’t even a slight proof of dat,why believe the rest of the story?they are all just trying to discredit comrades name, dats d sad fact.u think if oshiomhole wanted, information he’ll have to go tru taiwo? this idahosa bashing comrade rn ,is actually closer to comrade than the COS,but u guys wont understand.his resignation had nothing to do with dis crap,i know for an actual fact,it had nothing to do with d feud btw comrade and obaseki, nothing at all.it was more like a disagreement btw taiwo nd obaseki over his responsibilities as COS.but still,i dont expect y’all to blive, its easier and d story is much sweeter involving comrade.nigerians are so easily manipulated.nd u wonder y we have bad governments.

For Obaseki to have been asking for nominees for position as sensitive as COS at the inception of his government shows he was not well schooled in the game of Politics. As a good politician, you must have your candidates for COS,Commissioner of finance and you must push their candidature through by all means.

You don't need to push any COS's candidature politically before anyone. It is your sole preserve to make anyone you feel comfy with to be your COS. It could be your wife, son, friend, gateman, houseboy or your worst political foe.

I thought Comrade was accused of selecting Obaseki's team!
When someone like Idahosa talks and laments about betrayal, you have to laugh.

This man called akerele didn't try at all, he ought to have told his boss what was going on but allowed himself to be used by the power monster . It's very unfortunate.

The guy just open up your brain and you start digressing as usual....blabbing about the APC. Are both camp not APC? Even in 2023 your dear PDP will still be in political asylum.

Why will you keep a CoS who's leaking sensitive certified document in your camp?
Common sense should have informed Obaseki that he's already a sell out regardless of the motive.
He either sack him immediately or if he's so close to him, he should have had a talk with him to know why his loyalty is derailing.

Racoon:

This is the hypocrisy with the APC. The case became public knowledge when the Oshiomole group's act of subterfuge became known to the governor.

Meanwhile, Oshiomole(who himself have been indicted in many corruption but never prosecuted of same) that knew about the alleged corrupt acts by same former COS never reported to the EFCC but waited for opportune time to start using it to blackmail the poor chap.

Same tactics Oshiomole once used for Pastor Ize Iyamu whom after calling him all manner of dirty names is today the crooked Chairman's beloved political bride. Obaseki also didnt get the former COS arrested & prosecuted. That is politicians for you.

APC government is using corruption to fight corruption and illegality to fight legality cum illegality. The more you see the less you understand.

[s][/s] Go school you no gree.Your warped mindset will not let you read to understand that the Oshiomole group(though Obaseki too have his own joker to play later) are the ones threatening the poor chap to Perhaps cooperate & cross over to their side using previous well established corrupt act they knew about but failed to report same.

The spirit of blind zombiesm will never allow you lots to know when you've been mummified. So sad.Too bad.
. Idahosa is a liar.Akerele was known to Obaseki and Akerele worked under Obaseki in Osho baba government.

this just shows that you don't know anything about politics!! Shopping for nominees for any political position is normal. If you don't have any readily available, you can shop for one depending on the contacts you have!!

Loyalty is second to non when it comes to matter like this,Abba kyari may his soul rest in peace can attest to that. He goof up badly if what was written abt him was true. All he needed to do was approach his boss when they try to rope him with blackmail issues. Late kyari face similar situation with the 500m MTN kick back he was allege to have taken.no blame am na workshop.but buhari stood by him and that case was swept under the carpet with a top MTN staff who was a mole losing his Job in the process.Taiwo Akerele has ruined his political career for been a mole and a stooge.

One down. At least we have established that it was not Oshiomole that nominated Taiwo Akerele, the erstwhile Chief of Staff. It was Chief Charles Idahosa that nominated him.
It means that from day 1, Obaseki was not a good administrator or how would you explain the situation whereby a governor was looking and begging around town for a Chief of Staff. Its okay to ask fellow politians to nominate an SA or even commisioner but no serious minded prepared governor ought to be shopping around for a Chief of Staff from day 1. It speaks so much of the preparedeness, administrative capacity and capability of Governor Obaseki.

U are a very big novice.

And u open ur mouth with confidence like you know it all.

Chief of Staff are most times recommended.

Mamman Daura Recommended Abba Kyari to Buhari.

So silent there.

What is this one saying?

Did the report not allege that the CoS was sidelined after the governor discovered that he was leaking vital documents to the Osho camp?

My question is, if the man was a double agent, and the governor knew it, why didn't he sack him immediately? Why did he have to wait until the Osho camp blackmail him to resign?

It's you that lacks elementary comprehension, you should go back to primary 4. I cannot be communicating with you in your native language before you understand simple sentences!!!

Oga Nairamaniac,
Cool down and next time, face your front, express your own opinion and stop putting mouth in every opinion and post.
How did expressing my opinion mean "know all to you". it shows your level of illiteracy. I am not surprised though since your name is Nairamaniac and maniac actually refers to "a person exhibiting extreme symptoms of wild behavior, especially when violent and dangerous".
I am still of the opinion that a prepared and serious governor that knows his onions ought to already have an idea of who his Chief of Staff would be, in fact, the Chief of Staff ought to be part of the doffs drafting the implementation plan. A governor that goes around after winning election begging for Chief of Staff is not prepared for governance.
Talking about, Kyari, Kyari was already in the picture before he was picked by Buhari or recommended by Daura (provided that your assumption is right anyway) in fact, Buhari referred to Abba Kyari as his "loyal friend" and a "dearest friend" of over 40 years. In 2003, Kyari was with Obasanjo & PDP but when Buhari declared his intentions to contest, he joined the Buhari team and he has been with him since so I doubt your assumption that he was nominated by the Mamman Daura factor but whatever leave Buhari, Daura and Kyari out of it.

Only a fool will remain in a sinking ship, Obaserki is going and as a wise man, he has refused to go down with him. They can use the media to say trash about him as they like. Obeserki is a one-term governor.

In saner climes yeah but in Nigeria where there are many Godfathers, you sure need to push through most of your political appointees.
