You obviously don't know that ministries are different from departments and agencies.

Even a fresh graduate entering FIRS won't get 300k for a start. And that's supposedly a top FG agency.

Entry level at FG ministries is around 60k or slightly higher.

At the Foreign Affairs Ministry, it won't be any different. It gets better as you go up the ladder. And once you land an overseas posting, boy, you're almost made for life.

O.p pray you get the job first, that place is very tight to enter. The salary scale is CONPSS, just like the ministry, level 8 is 56-60k there about. But the thing is there's alot of career prospects there, once you reach level 12 foreign posting don start be that with alot of estacode. All the best.

Our leaders no dey do the youth well..u mean after years in the university someone will go and be earning 60k per month, because there is one estacode he will be collecting when he gets to level 12 (on a normal, that should be like 10 to 12 years to move from level 8 to 12)...Yet the wont upgrade the uni crurriculum to teach people skills

That's a fat ,300k for level 8 haba, bro your monthly salary is btw 70 to 90 but as u dey clam levels e dey increase.

I work in ministry of education, the salary of level 8 step 7 is around 56k to 58k. Don't let people deceive you. Ministry are not paying like others federal government organization. Those who enjoys ministry work is from level 12 up.

Foreign affairs have some allowances that raise their pay above yours in education.

How much does Junior lecturers with level 8 receives for starting.

I have a cousin, he came out with 2.1 in UNN, they gave him a lecturing job in same school with a start salary of 80k. Though it might rocketed to like 100k now because that was last 2yrs.

Not yet because promotion is every 3 years, except he's gotten his Msc.

If you enter as a graduate, you need not bother about the salary. If you are lucky to get posted outside the country, you get paid in dollars. Usually the rotation is every 3 years. It's an excellent place to work. If they offer you 50k to start, accept it and bid your time

Truth is ministry don't pay so high, it's departments, agencies and parastatals that have the money but some ministry like finance now, with time u get life changing opportunities and connects especially when u become a foreign envoy.

u are funny u want to work for 100k in a month..na wah...pls if u intend to try as much as possible to have another job outside this job.u cant survive with that cash in dis current nigeria..i am a federal staff but i see the salaries as peanut ...lvl 8 step 4..is 109k in universities non academic ippis..but i have other huzzle solar ..furniture..and installation of wallpaper.i have a monthly expenses of abt 200k..pls if u have the means i would advise u travel out i guess u are young and not married..pls its too hard to survive here and fuel may increase to 300 naira soon so u see u cant survive it as for me i have divided all my attentions to something else and fg jobs are not challenging jobs its suppose to be a woman thing just my opinion

i guess its state uni..i work in a fg uni lv8 4 is 109k...pls dont mislead people its a public forum...i can snap the pay slip and upload if u wish..but is 109k money in this current nigeria thats about 200 dollars a month

I have an uncle who wanted to plant me in Foreign Affairs, ABJ, we did interview and a file was opened for me at commissioner’s office and I expected to be called for resumption but alas the man was transferred from annual leave turning my application to groundnuts and puff puff rappers. On a lighter note, the level 8 in FA is about 60K but you will be paid like 400k for 30-60 in office which is part of your national cake.
