Enugu is regional capital of east just like Oyo state, Anambra and Abia are both commercial and industrial states.
East states is far more developed than west minus man's land
Ibadan was the regional capital not Oyo state

Ibadan alone is more Developed Than Enugu and Awka

That slum even looks like European slums compared to your largely slummy Igboland with only Onitsha which is 52 square km partly developed with houses.
Only houses in a tiny space grin

These are what Ibadan city also has that you don't have in your entire Igboland.
Good road network.
Onitsha metropolitan area cover many towns and local governments, Urbanization in Onitsha doesn't end in Onitsha, Anambra state generally if developed, from Onitsha down to Awka and Nnewi, Anambra is second most densely populated state after Lagos

Only ignorant mind will be measuring Onitsha town, Obosi which is neigboring town to Onitsha now one of the sub towns is even bigger than Onitsha in size same with Ogidi

Below is Obosi in Idemili local government now Onitsha sub

how does this look like Europe? Onitsha looks like America compare to Ibadan. See Ibadan aerial view,

Ibadan has slum which.is not up to 10% of Ibadan but it is still more developed than the entire Igboland because it is more infrastructurally developed.

Igboland has slums which take bigger area than the place where there are infrastructures.

Having slum does not translate to a not developed place like Igboland, full of scattered slums competing with Ibadan.
Ibadan is 3080 square km,the slum part is not up to Onitsha which is 52 square km.
Remove Onitsha from Ibadan, remove Enugu which is 556 square km and Ibadan is still more developed than Igboland.

You know this and that is why you always focus on the slum part.

Lagos has more slums in Nigeria but it is more developed than any state in Nigeria.
USA has slums but more developed than Britain that does not have slum.

ONITSHA IS THE ONLY PARTLY DEVELOPED...WITH HOUSES.....PLACE IN IGBOLAND BUT IT IS JUST 52 SQUARE KM....VERY TINY TO COMPARE EVEN WITH 5 GRAS IN IBADAN WHICH IS 3080 SQUARE KM WITH LOTS OF INFRASTRUCTURES.

THIS IS IGBOLAND AND THESE KIND OF PICS MAKE MOST OF THE LAND CALLED IGBOLAND.

After going through the pages of this thread, my conclusion is that ALAIGBO is far more developed and organized than SW fact! and is somehow insulting comparing SE with SW, the first look promising and can be compared to South Africa and the latter can only be compared to Benin republic.

They will continue to repeat same picture around Onitsha umpteenth times because their land is fallow and undeveloped.

This is the funny part, the Onitsha they post every time has mostly only houses,no university, no qualitative roads,no stadia, has only 1 GRA that they always picture from different sides and this Onitsha is just 52 square km grin

One would not know the kind of gutter Anambra1son sniffed to compare Onitsha with Ibadan which is more than 3000 square km,with infrastructures more than the entire Igboland..What effrontery!

What kind of pics.

Repeating pics of just houses from an area that is not up to 1000 square km.....that is the whole Igboland o.

What infrastructures do you have in the entire Igboland to compare with Ibadan.

You are a poverty stricken people that will always look up to Yorubas.

The brown roof parts which were built when you were using hands to cover your yansh do not stop Yorubaland from being too way more developed than Igboland.

Igboland has slums even as tiny as they are.
Fact remains that Ibadan only is more developed than the entire Igboland.

You are just crying on an old part of Ibadan which is not up to Onitsha.
You are leaving the larger part of Ibadan which remains more infrastructurally developed than the entire Igboland, not Enugu or Anambra but the entire Igboland.

Ibadan has the highest number of GRAs even more than Lagos.

Ibadan has a lot of malls different from the 5 mega malls that are doing well compared with the only mall...Onitsha mall....which is having problem with patronage because of poverty.

In short,Ibadan even with its slum,is more developed than the entire Igboland.

If we want to compare Igboland with Ibadan, let us go sector by sector. If you win Ibadan,we won't trouble you again.

These ofenmanu Nigga are obviously desperate. Their yansh has been exposed and brought to shame. See how they are just copping every picture they can lay their hands on from google.
They can’t show pictures of where the ordinary man lives, the high density areas of their towns where majority of the citizens, the ordinary man lives . They are only posting pictures of institutions and a few ugly unorganized estate..does every man live in the estate, office or factory?
Show is places where the ordinary man lives, where majority of the populace live. Shame no fit gree una because all na brown roof. Shameless bots grin grin

Let’s forget factories, malls, roads etc. let’s focus on where the ordinary man lives his life. Housing, nutrition, hygiene, access to water, education, healtcare, clothing, power wealth and income generation and per capital income are the parameters used by UNDP to measure standard of living and Human development index....NBS statistics don’t reflect the reality on ground. The ofenmanu head as usual keeps deceiving his gullible with his Ibadan express result, as the typical self lying Afonja that he is. You guys are never capable of telling yourselves the truth, for you to make reasonable changes, maybe out of shame. That is the difference between igbos and others, hence other think we are divided or not united because we bring to the open our reality. But In turn, it help us to make quick change and take up measures to improve on where we are lagging.

The southwest is obviously lagging behind in most of those parameters when compared to the southeast and south south. Poverty is highest in the west in the whole of southern Nigeria, because of laziness.

Only a self lying afonja will see all the pictures posted and still deny that the East isn’t doing better than the west.

All those companies in Ibadan are more than the number of companies (including roadside cobblers) located in all the states in the yeast combined. What yeebos consider as development is having ten 419 sons build fine houses in the same town. They fly drones over these to show how developed their cities (sorry, villages) are.

We don’t care... people don’t live in the factories and institutions . Even with them Sites in your land, you don’t own them, neither has it made Oyo as a whole a financially stable state. By CBN, Lagos, ABuja, Rivers, Anambra and Abia are the commercial nerve centers, before Ogun was later added.

Notice also that the pictures from the east are well spread. From Anambra to Enugu to Ebonyi to Imo to Abia....

There isn’t wide difference in development and standard of living. But from the west, if you want to defeat them, first remove Lagos and see how exposed and vulnerable they will become and then result to patch patch pictures from Ibadan only, When you hit them hard, then they add abit of some places in ogun state whose development is driven by lagos and that’s all.
They can never show you a wide expanse development from ekiti, Oshogbo or ondo, why? Because all those places apart from a half hand full of seemingly few fine houses own by their politicians and ritualist, there isn’t anything there...

I can still stand for ondo though... that’s the only state in the west that is still abit serene, organized and decent. They are different from other yoruba states, maybe because of their closeness to the Niger delta and being an oil producing state. They build fine houses in their towns...However, they still have their ocean of brown roofs too, only that they have plenty fine houses.

That’s the point... hence they think everywhere in the east is GRA or an Estate... not knowing that the pictures are organic developments from ordinary individuals who just build on their spaces. They just build and at the end, they turn out to be beautiful with mansions everywhere..the road maybe bad though but the physical structures are top notch. Even my village alone (no brag) has more beautiful houses mostly duplexes, than many of their so called towns. Infact in my village, nobody builds bungalow. And when they do, they raise the base very high and mount a very tall roof such that when u see it from afar, you will think it is an Upstairs building.(Man roof has to be seen from afar. One must be able to point to your house or roof from distance. grin grin if you know you know)

We convert forests to prime real estate zones, just as we do in Lagos, Abuja and Kano. It’s in our blood.... we love physical structures, assets. It doesn’t matter whether you are not rich, man must build a decent home for himself, family and his peaceful pride.

Why do you think igbo property was a thing after the civil war? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Igbos are property developers.
