Some youths in Enugu have intercepted Hausa and Igbo traders coming from Kano state at Ikenga hotel junction.

The driver confessed that he was conveying the passengers from Kano to Enugu.

He added that they had settled the police at Obollo-Benue Border for entrance.

They were refused entry into the state and escorted back by security personnel to where they were coming from.

Their action was in violation of the COVID-19 restriction of movement declared by various states of the federation, including Enugu State, as part of the precautionary measures to contain the spread of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.

The root of many acts of corruption. Every station now a business venture where money must be made. These people don't wait for salary but proceeds from bribery. It's a shame I swear

I don’t understand all this emergency migration oo, why are humans so stubborn? If I were a state governor I’ll impound any interstate vehicle that comes into my state and confine the animals in the vehicle to 1 year compulsory isolation

It has not been easy since this lockdown. Most nigerians are extremely poor(only those in Abuja with deep pockets can cope with this situation).
There is an igbo adage that says (anaghi agwa dimkpa ka opuo na anwu) meaning ; you shouldnt tell a grown man to find a shade to avoid sunlight heat.

Everyone should remain where they are for now! They said they have agriculture , land and water, now it's time to know who is who in this country. Don't be surprised that arrewa is in that bus as well.

My brother these people are traders; talking from experience i have a neighbour who is a family man that imports garri from Benue state; since this lockdown brouhaha he told my secretly around April 2 that markets wouid not be opened until May 11; since then he has travelled to Benue twice in this lockdown and import his goods knowing fully well that man has to survive.

So i will put those traders in the shoes of my neighbour with a family of three children, his wife and maid whom he must feed whether lockdown or no lockdown.

For me, I reside in Aba to be precise; since Ariaria Int Market where we supply our products is on lockdown for a month and weeks now my brother i have been starving; so putting those traders caught in my shoes; i would have done the same.
Nigeria leaders are all SADIST because i know that there is no wealthy man that will take the risk of travelling in this perilous time.
