Apple May Lose About $18 Billion If New Iphone Is Delayed by beejayvince(m): 4:29am On May 07, 2020
Apple launched the new iPhone SE last month. In fact, Apple CEO Tim Cook, has said that the phone is faster than the fastest Android phones. He said this a few days after the phone’s AnTuTu scores revealed an underclocked A13 Bionic chip. Regardless of all that, Apple is yet to launch its flagship device for the year.

Now, a report from Goldman Sachs has estimated that Apple may lose about $18 billion in revenue if the new iPhone is not released until November. As reported by Gizchina, it would mean a 14% year-on-year decrease in Apple iPhone sales.

Apple usually releases new iPhone flagships every September. This year’s flagship has a ring to it – it is the first iPhone that supports 5G mobile networks. Apple is also expected to make some major design adjustments to the iPhone. We have already seen the iPhone 12 Pro Max in leaked renders.

So will Apple delay the new iPhone? The current turn of events around the world suggests that the launch of the iPhone 12 lineup may be delayed till November. Even if it is launched in September, the global economic downturn will probably make potential buyers think twice.
