I never understand what love feels like

Until your arrival

I thought I knew what its all about

Not until I realized the kind of life I have been living

Getting tortured daily, of which I called love

Being a captive in the hand of the person I thought loved me

Your arrival makes me understand

The true definition of the word LOVE

You don't say it often to me but you shows it in verb

As the moment passes by

I still feel I don't deserve your love

Not this kind of love, its strange to me

But I keep feeling secured and confident in your love

Hmmm!

I met my love some years back

In a situation where he's not suppose to give me a second look

His gaze caught my attention

Believe me, I've not seen, I mean anyone

As beautiful and handsome as he is

It was not love at first sight for me

But I just got carried away

As I behold the beauty of creation

He approached me instantly

Not ready to loose the opportunity

I beheld his handsomeness as he speaks

Because I felt I do not deserve this kind of person

He's too sincere from his talk

His voice is so sweet, melting my heart

His skin, no scar nor stain

His touch, wow, is amazing

I almost fall for love

I told him I can't love him

With eyes full of unworthiness

I walked out on him

But, this person did not give up on me

He met me some days later

You know what

He dressed tattered, not looking good

And walks bear footed

I almost do not recognize him again

He called my name

(I wonder how he knows that)

He said with tears filled eyes

I love you the way you are, Temmy!

I love you from the very first time I set my eyes on you

I decided to bring myself to your level

Because I need you to accept my love

I was indeed speechless

As I managed to utter words

I busted out in tears

I said I can't love you

He assured me of his love and said I can

He wiped my tears, adjusted my hair

I said why are you doing this

He said because I love you

And I want to spend the rest of my life with you

I shouted out in the midst of my tears

I love you too, I will marry you

He gave me a loving, heartfelt embrace.

The journey to forever began

I thought I know how to write

Until I saw his writings

He is such a good writer

He wakes me up daily with a love note attached to my pillow

He turns my love life around

He sings with me, plays with me

Prays for me, teaches me

I have never experience a true love like this in my life

Until I met my beloved

He told me I cannot love him, that I should just accept him

That he is to love me unreservedly

His love is amazing,

My mind cannot fathom the uniqueness of his love

The only person that owns the key to my heart

Seeing him around me daily is the best thing that could ever happen to me

I want to love you more my heart

Even until my last breathe

The lover of my soul

That loved me when I wasn't loveable.




This is the love affair between humanity and divinity.
