Good evening dear Nairalanders, how can the people we elect into public offices be so callous as to be demolishing properties and structures of struggling residents?

In this very trying period in the lives of Nigerians this was what the Shomolu Local Government Council of Lagos State greeted residents of Olasode street in the Apata area of Shomolu with.

They moved in bulldozers without any prior notice to the property owners concerned and started their inhumane demolition in the name of road expansion of a street.

Beloved Nairalanders ,please help post and share this story till it get to the concerned authorities.

The residents involved must get justice and be fully compensated.

OP.
Ive never known Lagos State to demolish any structure without prior notice. Never! Even shanty sef they give notice.

These people got 1st notice, took it to aladura church for power prayer to divert LSG. Pastor lied to them that he binded LSG and nothing will happen.

Then they received 2nd notice. Pastor told them to pray and fast that nothing will happen.

LSG bring bulldozer and start clearing....then people like you come online with bullshyyte to get sympathy for expensive shyyte.

LSG will never demolish without just cause....and after many notices.

Ok good! File a suit against LSG for wrongful and cruel treatment and discriminative practice.

It is wrongful because you did not get notice
It is cruel because your right to shelter was denied
Discriminative because out of many houses on that street they choosed yours for demolition and left others standing.

I never stated that only our property was affected. 15 other properties were also demolished. Yes we are involving the law.

By the way, if they left 15 -15, which is the proper thing to do, they won't suffer demolition.

We don't obey the laws of the land, but we want public sympathy when caught by the law.

Nonsense and Corona virus. lipsrsealed
