There's not a single black person on the board.

The 5 whites on the board seem to be mainly Swedes . Then there are 2 Indian and a Chinese woman.

I may even tolerate a level of poor service if they were truly indigenous, there service and customer care is atrocious and to cap, they cheat customers.

Now I know they are not truly indigenous, I have no regrets porting away from them.

Are you aware that in the absence on Nitel, local calls were terminating on GLO? Sometime ago, remember that Mtn and Airtel were at GLO's throat over unpaid bills...GLO should have done more than they are currently doing, instead of fixing network issues, they will rather use the money to sign brand ambassadors.

That's probably part of the condition the Bank in France that gave him the $20million loan he put down for the license. It's very possible because that's a way to guarantee the investment God forbid the business turn South. It happens here in America too.

He probably has shares too but like you rightly said, majority of the company shares is probably the Bank that funds the initial payment. They use that as collateral in case the company goes belly up. It's operational standard especially dealing with African domiciled companies.

Anyway you cut it, is dishonesty to parade yourself an indigenous company when you don't have even one black person on your board of directors.
