President Muhammadu Buhari has sent forty-two ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and subsequent confirmation. Senate President Ahmad Lawan, who was reading the list, said they were Career Foreign Service officers. The curricular vitae of the candidates will be forwarded to the Senate according to President Buhari. Some of the names are Nwachukwu C. A.; A. Kefas ; Y S. Suleiman; G.M. Okolo; G.E.
