who will reject bribe money? corrupt nigerian officials? let me debunk this joke. this official (so called with "integrity" selected another bidder(probably an american one or a japanese one)to the municipal construction contract instead of this chinese company. why ? because the american gave your officials MORE bribe than the chinese. suppose a bridge would be built with a budget of 100 naira. chinese company try to win the contract with a bribe of 10 naira, but finally the american one won by handing 20 naira to your corrupt officials, LEAVING A PATHETIC 80 naira for a bridge which will fall down and kill ppl after it is completed 2 days later ! what is more mean is, this corrupt official DOUBLE eat. they took the bribe from the american construction company as well as the chinese one. they "arrest" these chinese, call them criminals and confiscate their bribe ! because this corrupt official can NOT eat the chinese money without arresting them , since he has rejected their bid for the contract. what is the long term effect ? good companies with solid skills to build infrastructures will not come to nigeria to invest and build, and your country remains corrupt and broken |

use common sense. who will say no to money? these nigerian officials have collected MORE bribe from maybe an american construction company which promises to build a bridge with LESS budget. (of course a bridge with less budget will FALL days later and kill ppl) |
